میں آپ (پی ایم مودی) کو آپ کی قیادت کے لیے مبارکباد دینا چاہوں گا۔ ہندوستان کا میرا آخری دورہ 2013 میں بطور وزیر تجارت تھا اور جو تبدیلی میں نے ابھی نئی دہلی کی سڑکوں پر دیکھی ہے اور میں شاید ایک دو دنوں میں ممبئی میں بہت کچھ دیکھوں گا، قابل دید ہے۔ یہ ایک معاشی معجزہ ہے جس کا ہم مشاہدہ کر رہے ہیں۔
ہندوستان اب دنیا میں فلاں فلاں نمبر پر ہے، اونچے مقام پر ہے؛ بھارت نے اب ایک اور ہدف حاصل کر لیا ہے، بہت بلند؛ بھارت نے یہ کیا اور بھارت نے وہ کیا۔ سب سے پہلے نریندر نے یہ کیا، اور اس کے ساتھ، ہندوستانی عوام نے۔ اور میں بہت خوش ہوں اور میں صرف یہ کہتا ہوں: زیادہ سے زیادہ اور زیادہ۔ کیونکہ آپ کی قیادت میں بارہ سالوں میں آپ نے اصلاحات کا آغاز کیا، آپ نے انفراسٹرکچر میں سرمایہ کاری کی، آپ نے روزگار، صحت، زراعت، فلاح و بہبود، معیار زندگی، توانائی، ٹیکنالوجی اور اختراع میں کام کیا۔
وزیر اعظم مودی کا ذاتی طور پر گلے ملنا کچھ منفرد ہے۔ اسے دنیا بھر میں 'مودی ہگ' کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے۔ جب آپ کسی کو مضبوطی سے گلے لگاتے ہیں، واقعی، آپ جانتے ہیں کہ یہ کوئی شو نہیں ہے۔ یہ اصل چیز ہے۔ اسے 'مودی ہگ' کہا جاتا ہے اور میں کنیسٹ کے ہر رکن کی جانب سے آپ کو اس گلے کو واپس کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ یہ نہ صرف ہمارے درمیان بہادر ذاتی دوستی کی طرف اشارہ کرتا ہے۔ یہ ہمارے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان موجود گرمجوشی کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔
نریندر، میرے پیارے دوست، میں آج آپ کی آمد سے بہت متاثر ہوا ہوں۔ چونکہ مجھے سفارتی ہونا ضروری ہے، میں اس کی درجہ بندی نہیں کروں گا، اس سے مجھے پریشانی ہوگی۔ لیکن میں اسرائیل کے ایک عظیم دوست، ہندوستان اور اسرائیل کے درمیان اتحاد کا پرجوش حامی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر ایک عظیم رہنما کے ساتھ آپ کے دورہ سے بہت زیادہ متاثر ہوں۔
Modi Ji is a patriot. Don't forget that... He is very much working hard to see that this country's economy achieves (its goals) in 2047 (and) all over the world, India should become one of the pioneers... so far as the economic achievement is concerned...That is what Modi ji is working so hard... which I want to congratulate.

Nirmala Sitharaman ji, for presenting the #ViksitBharatBudget, a progressive and comprehensive roadmap guiding India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat by 2047. The renewed emphasis on the North East, particularly in infrastructure, connectivity, tourism, and cultural heritage, reflects the Government’s strong resolve to transform the region into a vibrant growth hub of the East.

I welcome the ‘Union Budget 2026–27’ presented by the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. @nsitharamanoffc, under the inspiring guidance of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji. This Budget is not merely a financial document, but a visionary roadmap towards building a Viksit Bharat. With its emphasis on an inclusive economy, it creates endless opportunities for the youth, provides a protective shield for farmers, reassurance for the middle class, and a renewed ecosystem of encouragement for entrepreneurs. Anchored in the mantra of ‘Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi,’ this Budget successfully strikes a rare balance between innovation, manufacturing and India’s rich knowledge traditions.
