The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated doctors and Paid tributes to Dr. BC Roy on Doctor's day.

“On Doctor's day, I congratulate all hardworking doctors for their round the clock efforts to make our society fit and healthy. No words can do justice to their monumental contribution to public welfare. I also pay tributes to Dr. BC Roy, a distinguished doctor himself”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister emphasises the importance of Discipline of Thought and Action through a Sanskrit Subhashitam

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today emphasized the importance of clarity of thought and resolute action in life, drawing upon ancient wisdom to highlight the perils of indecision and wavering.

The Prime Minister underscored that indecisiveness weakens the mind and leads to distortion of purpose. He noted that once fundamental actions are set in motion, the challenges become deeper and more complex, demanding discipline, unity, and unwavering resolve.

The Prime Minister quoted a Sanskrit Subhashitam on X:

“विकल्पमात्रावस्थाने वैरूप्यं मनसो भवेत्।

पश्चान्मूलक्रियारम्भगम्भीरावर्तदुस्तरः।।”
