Addressing the 550th-year celebration of the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Goa, PM Modi said the Math has long served as a guiding centre for people. He noted that the path to a developed India runs through unity and that the nation’s resolve will be achieved only when spirituality, national service and development advance together. He highlighted that Goa’s sacred land and the Math are making an important contribution in this direction.

During his address at the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana programme at Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, PM Modi highlighted the special connection between Gujarat and Udupi. He remarked that Jagadguru Shri Madhvacharya, the pioneer of India’s Dvaita philosophy, is a shining light of Vedanta. The PM said that the entire life of Bhagwan Shri Krishna and every chapter of the Gita conveys the message of action, duty and welfare and announced nine resolutions for every citizen to adopt.

During the inauguration of the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India facility in Hyderabad, PM Modi remarked that the new establishment will strengthen India’s emergence as a global MRO hub.
