PM Modi inaugurated the CG Semi OSAT facility in Sanand, Gujarat and lauded the joint efforts of Indian, Japanese and Thai industry partners. He praised the transition into active commercial production capable of delivering 20 crore units annually, while expressing confidence in the team's ambitious target of reaching 500 crore units. He called upon business leaders to ensure that Japanese investment in India surpasses the target of 10 trillion yen over the next decade.

पंतप्रधान म्हणून मी हिंदी महासागर क्षेत्रातील ज्या देशाला 2015 मध्ये सर्वप्रथम भेट दिली होती, तो देश म्हणजे 'सेशेल्स' होता. माझी ती पहिली आफ्रिका भेटही होती. मी इथे आलो कारण माझा हा दृढ विश्वास होता की, हिंदी महासागराबाबतच्या भारताच्या दृष्टिकोनात सेशेल्सला एक अतिशय विशेष स्थान आहे. आज, एका दशकानंतर जेव्हा मी इथे पुन्हा आलो आहे, तेव्हा माझा हा विश्वास पूर्वीपेक्षा अधिक दृढ झाला आहे.
