During the special discussion on 150 years of Vande Mataram in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said that the discussion serves as a source of education for future generations. He called upon all to move forward together to fulfil the dreams envisioned by the freedom fighters, making Vande Mataram at 150 the source of inspiration and energy for all. The PM reaffirmed the resolve to build a self-reliant nation and achieve the vision of a developed India by 2047.

In his address at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, PM Modi highlighted India’s Quarter-2 GDP growth of over 8%, noting that today’s India is not only transforming itself but also transforming tomorrow. Criticising the use of the term “Hindu rate of growth,” he said India is now striving to shed its colonial mindset and reclaim pride across every sector. The PM appealed to all 140 crore Indians to work together to rid the country fully of the colonial mindset.

In his address at the India–Russia Business Forum, PM Modi conveyed deep gratitude to his friend President Putin for joining the forum. He noted that discussions have commenced on a Free Trade Agreement between India and the Eurasian Economic Union. He remarked that meaningful discussions have taken place over the past two days and expressed his happiness that all areas of India–Russia cooperation were represented.
