പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ ഭൗമദിന സന്ദേശം:
‘ഭൂമാതാവിനോടുള്ള കടപ്പാടു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും ഈ ഗ്രഹം വൃത്തിയാര്ന്നതും ഹരിതാഭവുമായി നിലനിര്ത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള നമ്മുടെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ ഊട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള അവസരമാണു ഭൗമദിനം.
ഭൂമിയില് നമുക്കൊപ്പം കഴിയുന്ന സസ്യങ്ങളും മൃഗങ്ങളും പക്ഷികളുമായി സൗഹര്ദത്തോടെ കഴിയേണ്ടതു നമ്മുടെ ചുമതലയാണ്. ഈ കടപ്പാട് നമുക്കും വരുംതലമുറകളോടും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
ഈ വര്ഷത്തെ പ്രമേയമായ ‘പാരിസ്ഥിതികവും കാലാവസ്ഥാപരവുമായ സാക്ഷരത’ എന്നതു പ്രകൃതിയെയും പ്രകൃതിവിഭവങ്ങളെയും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ബോധവല്ക്കരണം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാന് ഉതകുമെന്നു ഞാന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
