പാര്ലമെന്റിന്റെ സെന്ട്രല് ഹാളില് നടന്ന ശേീയ ജനപ്രതിനിധി സമ്മേളനത്തെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു.
‘എല്ലാ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും വികസന രംഗത്തു നേട്ടമുണ്ടാക്കിയ ഏതാനും ജില്ലകളുണ്ട്. അത്തരം ജില്ലകളിലെ അനുഭവം പാഠമാക്കി വികസനത്തില് പിന്നോക്കമുള്ള ജില്ലകള്ക്കായി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാന് സാധിക്കും.
മല്സരക്ഷമതയാര്ന്നതും സഹകരണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലുള്ളതുമായ ഫെഡറലിസത്തിന്റെ ഊര്ജം ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിനു വളരെ ഗുണകരമാണ്.
പൊതുപങ്കാളിത്തം എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും സഹായകമാണ്. ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് ജനങ്ങളുമായി ചേര്ന്നു വികസന പ്രക്രിയ മുന്നോട്ടുകൊണ്ടുപോകാന് എവിടെയൊക്കെ ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ, അവിടെയൊക്കെ മാറ്റമുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
പുരോഗതി ആവശ്യമായ ജില്ലകള് ഏതൊക്കെയെന്നു കണ്ടെത്തി കുറവുകള് പരിഹരിക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കേണ്ടത് അനിവാര്യമാണ്.
അത്തരം ജില്ലകളിലെ ഒരു ന്യൂനതയെങ്കിലും പരിഹരിക്കാന് നാം തീരുമാനിച്ചാല് ബാക്കിയുള്ള ന്യൂനതകള്കൂടി പരിഹരിക്കാനുള്ള ആവേശം ലഭിക്കും.
നമുക്കു മനുഷ്യശക്തിയും നൈപുണ്യവും വിഭവങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്. സേവനഭാവത്തോടെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാനും സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ മാറ്റം യാഥാര്ഥ്യമാക്കാനുമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കാന് നമുക്കു സാധിക്കണം. സാമൂഹിക നീതിയാണു നമ്മുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
സൗകര്യങ്ങള് കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ജില്ലകളില് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മനുഷ്യവികസന സൂചിക ഉയരുന്നതിനു സഹായകമാകും.
ജനപ്രതിനിധികളുടെ ഈ സമ്മേളനം വിളിച്ചുചേര്ത്ത സ്പീക്കര് സുമിത്ര മഹാജന്റെ പ്രവര്ത്തനം അഭിനന്ദനാര്ഹമാണ്. പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ജനപ്രതിനിധികള് ഒരുമിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതാണ്’, പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
