وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی امریکہ کے صدر جوزف آر بائیڈن کی دعوت پر آب و ہوا سے متعلق قائدین کے اجلاس میں 22-23 اپریل کو ورچؤل طور پر شرکت کریں گے۔ وزیر اعظم 22 اپریل کو شام 5.30 بجے سے 7.30 بجے تک قائدین کے اجلاس 1 میں اپنی بات رکھیں گے جس کا موضوع ہے ”سال 2030 کے لیے ہماری اجتماعی کوشش“۔

اجلاس میں دنیا کے تقریباً 40 دیگر قائدین شرکت کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ ان ممالک کی نمائندگی کریں گے جو میجر اکنامیز فورم (ہندوستان ایک رکن ہے) کے ممبر ہیں، اور جو دیگر باتوں کے علاوہ، آب و ہوا کی تبدیلی کا شکار ہیں۔ قائدین آب و ہوا کی تبدیلی، آب و ہوا کے تئیں اقدامات میں اضافہ، آب و ہوا میںتخفیف اور موافقت کے لیے فنڈ جمع کرنے، فطرت پر مبنی حل، آب و ہوا کی سلامتی کے ساتھ ساتھ صاف توانائی کے لیے تکنیکی جدتوں کے بارے میں تبادلہ خیال کریں گے۔

قائدین اس بات پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کریں گے کہ قومی حالات اور پائیدار ترقیاتی ترجیحات کا احترام کرتے ہوئے دنیا کس طرح جامع اور لچکدار معاشی ترقی کے ساتھ آب و ہوا کے کام کو پورا کر سکتی ہے۔

یہ اجلاس آب و ہوا سے جڑے مسائل پر مرکوز عالمی اجلاسوں کے سلسلے کا ایک حصہ ہے جو نومبر 2021 میں منعقد ہونے والے COP26 تک جاری رہے گا۔

تمام اجلاس براہ راست نشر کیے جائیں گے اور میڈیا اور عوام کے لیے کھلے رہیں گے۔

Prime Minister extends greetings on Global Tiger Day, reaffirms commitment to tiger conservation

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has extended greetings to all wildlife enthusiasts on Global Tiger Day.

The Prime Minister said that the people of India are proud that the country is home to almost 70 per cent of the global tiger population.

He noted that India’s tiger conservation efforts are inspired by the country’s centuries-old culture of living in harmony with nature and powered by the collective will of its people.

Shri Modi reaffirmed the commitment to science-based conservation, community participation and sustainable development that strengthens tiger conservation.

Shri Modi also lauded the efforts and dedication of forest personnel, scientists and conservationists for their key role in tiger protection. The Prime Minister added that India remains committed to empowering local communities and reducing human-wildlife conflict.

In a thread posts on X, Shri Modi said;
