पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी जकार्ता येथे भारतीय समुदायाला संबोधित केले. त्यांनी भारत आणि इंडोनेशियामधील विशेष संबंध विशद केले आणि नवी दिल्लीत यंदा प्रजासत्ताक दिन सोहळ्याची आठवण सांगितली. ज्यात इंडोनेशियासह 10 आसियान देशांचे नेते उपस्थित होते. ते म्हणाले की, हा योगायोग नव्हे, 1950 सालीही नवी दिल्लीतील प्रजासत्ताक दिन संचलनाला इंडोनेशियाचे राष्ट्रपती प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून उपस्थित होते.

इंडोनेशियातील भारतीय समुदायातील सदस्य हे इंडोनेशियाचे स्वाभिमानी नागरिक आहेत. मात्र, आपल्या भारतीय मुळांशी संबंध ठेवण्याची त्यांची इच्छा आहे.

गेल्या 4 वर्षात भारतात अभूतपूर्व परिवर्तन झाल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. त्या संदर्भात बोलताना त्यांनी थेट परदेशी गुंतवणूक, मुक्त भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था, व्यापार सुलभता आणि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेची स्पर्धात्मकता यांचा उल्लेख केला.

दोन्ही देशांना त्यांच्या लोकशाही मूल्य आणि वैविध्याचा अभिमान आहे, असे ते म्हणाले. उभय देशांमधील सांस्कृतिक संबंध अधोरेखित करतांना त्यांनी बाली-जत्रा आणि खाद्य पदार्थ आणि भाषेतील साम्य ही उदाहरणे दिली. तत्पूर्वी आपण आणि राष्ट्रपती विदोदोनी संयुक्तपणे पतंग प्रदर्शनाचे उद्‌घाटन केले ज्यात रामायण आणि महाभारतातील संकल्पनांचा समावेश होता, असे ते म्हणाले.

भारतातील विकासाबाबत बोलतांना ते म्हणाले की, केंद्र सरकार विकासाभिमूख आणि भ्रष्टाचारमुक्त ही यंत्रणा तयार करत आहे. ते म्हणाले व्यावसाय सुलभतेवरून आता जगण्यातील सुलभतेवर भर दिला जात आहे. आमच्या प्रक्रिया पारदर्शक आणि संवेदनशील आहेत, असे ते म्हणाले. पायाभूत विकास क्षेत्रात झालेल्या अनेक विकास कार्यांचा त्यांनी उल्लेख केला. स्टार्ट अप प्रणाली आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय सौर आघाडी याबाबत त्यांनी आपले विचार मांडले.

गरजूंना मदत करतांना भारत आणि इंडोनेशियाचा संवेदनशील दृष्टीकोन असतो, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. भारत कोणाच्याही पारपत्राचा रंग पाहत नाही आणि ज्यांना मदतीची गरज आहे अशा सर्वांना मदत करतो, असे ते म्हणाले. भारत आणि इंडोनेशिया यांची नावेच केवळ जुळत नाही तर त्यांची संस्कृती, परंपरा आणि लोकशाही मुल्यांमधील समानता आहे, असे ते म्हणाले.

भारतात होत असलेल्या बदलांचे साक्षीदार बनण्यासाठी पंतप्रधानांनी समुदायाला भारताला भेट देण्याचे निमंत्रण दिले.

Prime Minister shares a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the sacred legacy of our motherland and praying for universal prosperity

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, noting that our motherland has been the sacred land of spiritual practice and worship, as well as courage, strength, and universal welfare. Shri Modi expressed his earnest wish that this holy land of great heritage and ancient culture may always keep everyone replete with happiness and prosperity.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"हमारी मातृभूमि साधना और उपासना के साथ-साथ साहस, शक्ति और सर्व-कल्याण की पुण्यभूमि रही है। महान विरासत और प्राचीन संस्कृति की यह पावन धरती हर किसी को सदैव सुख-समृद्धि से परिपूर्ण रखे, यही कामना है।

यस्यां पूर्वे पूर्वजना विचक्रिरे यस्यां देवा असुरानभ्यवर्तयन् ।
गवामश्वानां वयसश्च विष्ठा भगं वर्चः पृथिवी नो दधातु ।।"

May the land where our ancestors performed great and benevolent deeds, and where the gods defeated the unjust forces, that motherland, full of livestock and power, grant us vast space and prosperity.
