প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ ইন্দোনেশিয়ার জাকার্তায় সেদেশে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয়দের উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দেন। তিনি ভারত ও ইন্দোনেশিয়ার মধ্যে বিশেষ সম্পর্কের কথা তুলে ধরেন এবং গত বছর নতুন দিল্লিতে সাধারনতন্ত্র দিবসের অনুষ্ঠানে ইন্দোনেশিয়া সহ ১০টি আশিয়ানভুক্ত রাষ্ট্রের নেতৃবৃন্দের উপস্হিতির কথা স্মরণ করেন। তিনি বলেন, ১৯৫০ সালে, ইন্দোনেশিয়ার রাষ্ট্রপতি যে নতুন দিল্লিতে সাধারণতন্ত্র দিবসের শোভাযাত্রায় প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন, তা কোনও সমাপতনের ঘটনা ছিল না।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ইন্দোনেশিয়ায় ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুত মানুষেরা এদেশে গর্বিত নাগরিক। কিন্তু তাঁরা তাঁদের ভারতীয় পরিচয়ের শিকড়ের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকতে আগ্রহী।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, গত চার বছরে ভারতে এক অভূতপূর্ব রূপান্তর দেখা গেছে। এই প্রসঙ্গে নরেন্দ্র মোদী প্রত্যক্ষ বৈদেশিক বিনিয়োগ, ভারতীয় অর্থনীতির বিকাশ সহজে ব্যবসার সুযোগ এবং ভারতীয় অর্থনীতির প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরিস্হিতির কথা তুলে ধরেন।

তিনি বলেন, উভয় দেশই তাদের গণতান্ত্রিক ও বহুত্ববাদের ঐতিহ্য নিয়ে গর্বিত। তিনি বালি-যাত্রা’র এবং উদাহরণ দিয়ে বলেন, দু দেশের মধ্যে রান্নাবান্না ও খাদ্যাভ্যাস এবং ভাষার মধ্যে এক ধরনের মিল রয়েছে, যা দুই দেশের মধ্যে ঘনিষ্ঠ সাংস্কৃতিক ঐক্যের কথা তুলে ধরে। তিনি বলেন, আজ একটু আগে তিনি এবং প্রেসিডেন্ট উইডোডো যৌথভাবে একটি ঘড়ি উৎসবের উদ্বোধন করেছেন। এই উৎসবের অন্যতম প্রধান সুর ছিল রামায়ন ও মহাভারতের ঘটনাগুলি।

ভারতের উন্নয়নের প্রসঙ্গে তিনি বলেন, সরকার উন্নয়ন বান্ধব ও দুর্নীতিমুক্ত ব্যবস্হা সৃষ্টি করার উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ‘ব্যবসা করার সুবিধা’ থেকে ভারতে বর্তমানে ‘বসবাসের সুবিধা’র ওপর জোর দেওয়া হচ্ছে। আমাদের সমস্ত কর্মপ্রক্রিয়া স্বচ্ছ এবং সংবেদনশীল বলে তিনি মন্তব্য করেন। পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নের বেশ কয়েকটি ক্ষেত্রে বেশকিছু নাটকীয় ঘটনার কথা তিনি তুলে ধরেন। ভারতের গতিশীল স্টার্ট-আপ ব্যবস্হা এবং আন্তর্জাতিক সৌর জোটের কথাও প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন।

শ্রী মোদী বলেন, দুর্গতদের সহায়তা করার ক্ষেত্রে ভারত এবং ইন্দোনেশিয়া উভয়য়েই এক সংবেদনশীল দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি নিয়ে চলেন। তিনি বলেন, ভারত কোনদিন কোন ব্যক্তির পাসপোর্টের রঙ দেখতে চাইনা এবং যেসব ব্যক্তির সহায়তা প্রয়োজন তাদের সাহায্য দিয়ে থাকে। তিনি বলেন, ভারত এবং ইন্দোনেশিয়ার নামের উচ্চারনেই যে কেবলমাত্র ছন্দ রয়েছে তাই নয়, উভয় দেশ সংস্কৃতি, ঐতিহ্য এবং গণতান্ত্রিক মূল্যবোধের বিষয়েও এক অভিন্ন ছন্দের অংশিদার।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুতদের ভারত সফরে আসার এবং নিজের চোখে পরিবর্তন প্রতক্ষ্য করার আমন্ত্রণ জানান।
