প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি গোয়ার শ্যামা মুখার্জিস্টেডিয়ামে আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে রবিবার মোপা বিমানবন্দর এবং তুয়াম-এর ইলেকট্রনিকসিটি’-র শিলান্যাস করলেন। তাছাড়া প্রধানমন্ত্রী ‘মাইন কাউন্টার মেজার ভেসেল’নির্মাণের পরিকাঠামো এবং পাঁচটি ‘কোস্ট গার্ড অফসোর পেট্রোল ভেসেল’ নির্মাণসূচনারও উদ্বোধন করেন।
অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধানমন্ত্রী ভাষণের শুরুতে কয়েক সপ্তাহ আগেগোয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত ব্রিকস শিখর সম্মেলন সফলভাবে আয়োজিত করায় ভারতকে সক্ষম করে তোলায়যারা কাজ করেছেন, তাদেরকে অভিনন্দিত করেন। তাছাড়া গোয়া রাজ্যের অগ্রগতিরও তিনি প্রশংসাকরেন।
বিমানবন্দর প্রকল্প নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, প্রাক্তনপ্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী অটল বিহারী বাজপেয়ী’-র এই প্রতিশ্রুতি পূরণ হওয়ায় তিনি খুশি।তিনি বলেন, এতে গোয়ার লাভ হবে এবং পর্যটনে বিশেষ গতি আসবে। ইলেকট্রিনিক সিটিপ্রকল্পের উল্লেখ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ডিজিট্যাল পদ্ধতিতে প্রশিক্ষিত, আধুনিকও যুবসমাজ পরিচালিত গোয়া এখন তৈরি হচ্ছে, যার ক্ষমতা রয়েছে ভারতকে রূপান্তরিতকরার।
টাকা বাতিল নিয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের সাম্প্রতিক সিদ্ধান্তেরউল্লেখ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ৮ নভেম্বর দেশের বেশিরভাগ মানুষ শান্তিতেঘুমিয়েছেন। কিন্তু সামান্য কিছু মানুষ এখনও ঘুমাতে পারেন নি। তিনি বলেন, কেন্দ্রীয়সরকার কালো টাকার ভীতিকে পরাজিত করে দেশের সৎ নাগরিকদের সহায়তা করার জন্য একটিবিশেষ পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে। এই টাকা বাতিলের প্রক্রিয়া সফল করার বিষয়টি সুনিশ্চিতকরার জন্য যারা কাজ করে চলেছেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রী তাদের সবাইকে ধন্যবাদ জানান। তিনিবলেন, এক্ষেত্রে সমস্যা ও যন্ত্রণা তিনিও অনুভব করছেন এবং এই পদক্ষেপগুলি যে নেওয়াহয়েছে তা কোনো গর্বোদ্ধত প্রকাশ নয়। তিনি বলেন, তিনি দারিদ্র্য প্রত্যক্ষ করেছেনএবং মানুষের সমস্যাগুলি অনুধাবন করছেন।
তিনি স্মরন করেন যে, ২০১৪ সালে মানুষ দেশকে দুর্নীতিমুক্তকরার জন্য ভোট দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি কালো টাকা নির্মূলে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার যেসব পদক্ষেপগ্রহণ করেছে, তার উল্লেখ করেন।
তিনি স্মরন করেন যে, ২০১৪ সালে মানুষ দেশকে দুর্নীতিমুক্তকরার জন্য ভোট দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি কালো টাকা নির্মূলে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার যেসব পদক্ষেপগ্রহণ করেছে, তার উল্লেখ করেন।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ভারতে যদি টাকা লুট হয় এবং তা ভারতথেকে বেরিয়ে যায়, তাহলে তা খুঁজে বের করা আমাদের দায়িত্ব। তিনি বলেন, তিনি কোনোউঁচু পদে বসার জন্য জন্মগ্রহন করেন নি। তার পরিবার, বাড়ি সহ যা কিছু তার ছিল, তিনিদেশ সেবার জন্য সেই সমস্ত কিছুই পরিত্যাগ করেছেন বলেও উল্লেখ করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
