પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે ગોવામાં મોપા એરપોર્ટના ભૂમિપૂજનની ઉજવણીની અને શ્યામા પ્રસાદ મુખર્જી સ્ટેડિયમમાં એક સમારંભ દરમિયાન મોપા એરપોર્ટ પર તુઆમમાં ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક સિટીના ભૂમિપૂજનની ઉજવણીની તકતીનું અનાવરણ કર્યું હતું.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ માઇન કાઉન્ટર મેઝર વેસલ્સના નિર્માણ માટે માળખાગત સુવિધાના ઉદ્ઘાટનની તકતીનું અનાવરણ અને પાંચ તટરક્ષ દળ ઓફશોર પેટ્રોલ વેસલ્સના નિર્માણની શરૂઆતનું ઉદ્ઘાટનની તકતીનું અનાવરણ પણ કર્યું હતું.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ આ પ્રસંગની શરૂઆત થોડા અઠવાડિયા અગાઉ બ્રિક સંમેલનનું સફળતાપૂર્વક આયોજન કરવા બદલ ભારતને સક્ષમ બનાવનારી ટીમને અભિનંદન આપવાની સાથે કરી હતી. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ગોવાની પ્રગતિ પર પ્રશંસા પણ કરી હતી.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ એરપોર્ટ પ્રોજેક્ટ વિશે કહ્યું હતું કે, ભૂતપૂર્વ પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી અટલ બિહારી વાજપેયીએ આપેલા વચનને પૂર્ણ કરવાની તેમને ખુશી છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આ એરપોર્ટ પ્રોજેક્ટથી ગોવાને ફાયદો થશે અને રાજ્યમાં પ્રવાસનને વધુ વેગ મળશે.

તેમણે ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક સિટી પ્રોજેક્ટના સંબંધમાં કહ્યું હતું કે, ડિજિટલ રીતે તાલીમબદ્ધ, આધુનિક અને યુવા પેઢી દ્વારા સંચાલિત ગોવા આજે પ્રગતિના માર્ગે અગ્રેસર છે, જે ભારતની કાયાપલટને સક્ષમ બનાવવા માટે પ્રદાન કરવા માટે સક્ષમ છે.

કેન્દ્ર સરકારે તાજેતરમાં રૂ. 500 અને રૂ. 1000ની ચલણી નોટો પરત ખેંચવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ આ નિર્ણય વિશે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ભારતમાં આઠમી નવેમ્બરના રોજ ઘણા લોકો શાંતિથી ઊંઘ લઈ શક્યા હતા, જ્યારે કેટલાંકની ઊંઘ હજુ પણ હરામ થઈ ગઈ છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, કેન્દ્ર સરકારે ભારતના પ્રામાણિક નાગરિકોને મદદ કરવા મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ કદમ ઉઠાવ્યું છે, જેનો ઉદ્દેશ કાળા નાણાંના વિષચક્રમાંથી દેશને મુક્ત કરવાનો છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ચલણી નોટો પરત ખેંચવાના આ નિર્ણયના સફળતાપૂર્વક અમલને સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા બદલ તમામ નાગરિકોનો આભાર માન્યો હતો. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, આ નિર્ણય લેતા મને પણ દુઃખ થયું છે અને આ પ્રકારનું પગલું અહંકારનું પ્રદર્શન નથી. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, તેમણે ગરીબી જોઈ છે અને લોકોની સમસ્યાને સમજે છે.

તેમણે યાદ કરાવ્યું હતું કે, વર્ષ 2014માં લોકોએ દેશને ભ્રષ્ટાચારમાંથી મુક્ત કરવા માટે મત આપ્યા હતા. તેમણે કેન્દ્ર સરકારે કાળું નાણું નિયંત્રણમાં લેવા માટે અત્યાર સુધી હાથ ધરેલા વિવિધ પગલાંનો ઉલ્લેખ પણ કર્યો હતો.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the significance of self-confidence and inner strength in conquering life's most difficult obstacles.

The Prime Minister remarked that for an individual filled with courage and resolve, nothing in life is impossible. Shri Modi affirmed that we can overcome the most difficult challenges on the strength of willpower and self-confidence.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"जो व्यक्ति साहस और संकल्प से भरा हो, उसके लिए जीवन में कुछ भी असंभव नहीं। आत्मविश्वास और इच्छाशक्ति के बल पर हम कठिन से कठिन चुनौतियों को पार कर सकते हैं।

एकोऽपि सिंहः साहस्रं यूथं मथ्नाति दन्तिनाम् ।
तस्मात् सिंहमिवोदारमात्मानं वीक्ष्य सम्पतेत्॥"

Just as one lion has the power to defeat a thousand elephants, in the same way a person should engage in noble actions fearlessly, with courage, confidence, and inner strength like a lion.
