آج وزیرِاعظم جناب نریندر مودی کو جمہوریہ فرانس کے صدر جناب ایمانوئل میکرون کی جانب سے ایک ٹیلیفون کال موصول ہوئی۔

دونوں رہنماؤں نے یوکرین اور مغربی ایشیا کے خطے میں جاری تنازعات کے پرامن حل کے لیے کی جانے والی کوششوں پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔

صدر میکرون نے واشنگٹن میں یورپ، امریکہ اور یوکرین کے رہنماؤں کے درمیان حالیہ ملاقاتوں پر اپنا تجزیہ پیش کیا، اور غزہ کی موجودہ صورتحال کے حوالے سے بھی اپنے خیالات سے آگاہ کیا۔

وزیرِاعظم جناب مودی نے ان تنازعات کے پرامن حل اور امن و استحکام کی جلد بحالی کے لیے بھارت کی مستقل حمایت کا اعادہ کیا۔

رہنماؤں نے دوطرفہ تعاون کے ایجنڈے میں پیش رفت کا جائزہ لیا، جس میں تجارت، دفاع، سول نیوکلیئر تعاون، ٹیکنالوجی اور توانائی کے شعبے شامل تھے۔ دونوں نے بھارت-فرانس اسٹریٹجک شراکت داری کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے اپنے مشترکہ عزم کو دہرایا، اور سال 2026 کو 'سالِ اختراع ' (ایئر آف اننوویشن) کے طور پر شایانِ شان طریقے سے منانے پر اتفاق کیا۔

صدر میکرون نے بھارت اور یورپی یونین کے درمیان آزاد تجارتی معاہدے (ایف ٹی اے)کی جلد تکمیل کے لیے اپنی حمایت کا بھی اظہار کیا۔

دونوں رہنماؤں نے تمام اہم امور پر رابطے میں رہنے پر اتفاق کیا۔

Prime Minister congratulates Mr. Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended congratulations to Mr. Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Shri Modi noted that India and the UK are bound by shared democratic values and enjoy wide-ranging cooperation across trade, investment, technology, defence, and people-to-people relations. With CETA entering into force this month, the Prime Minister pointed out that the bilateral partnership is poised to grow even stronger.

The Prime Minister stated that he looks forward to working closely with him to further deepen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and advance their shared Vision 2035.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:

"Warmest congratulations to Mr. Andy Burnham on assuming office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
