وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے وارانسی میں ’میری کاشی‘ نامی تصنیف کی رسم اجراء کی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئےکہا کہ اس شہر سے ان کا رشتہ محض سرکاری پروگراموں یا بجٹ تک ہی محدود نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ رشتہ اس سے کہیں زیادہ گہرہ ہے

اس موقع پر انہوں نے بتایا کہ وہ کس طرح 2014 میں اپنے کاغذتِ نامزدگی داخل کرنے کاشی آئے تھے اور لوگوں کو تعجب تھا کہ کیا ہونے والا ہے۔

جناب مودی نے مزید کہا کہ کاشی کے عوام کو یہ پوچھنے کا بہر حال حق حاصل ہے کہ ان کے پارلیمانی حلقے کے لئے کیا کیا کام کیے گئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ، ’’ سال 2013 کے نصف ثانی اور 2014 کی مہم کے دوران میں نے کہا تھا کہ میں ہندوستان کی عوام کی خدمت کے لئے کوئی دقیقہ فروگذاشت نہیں کروں گا۔ میرا ذہن صاف ہے۔ میں اپنے لیے کچھ نہیں کرنا چاہتا۔ میں اس کے لئے یہاں نہیں آیا ہوں۔ بابا بھولے ناتھ کے آشیرواد سے میں اپنے ملک کے لئے کام کرنا چاہتا ہوں‘‘۔

وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ مستقبل ہندوستان کا ہے اور پوری دنیا ہندوستان کے معاشی استحکام پر توجہ مرکوز کر رہی ہے۔

اس موقع پر جناب مودی نے صفائی ستھرائی کی مہم کو آگے بڑھانے کے لئے وارانسی کے لوگوں کی تعریف کی۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ کس طرح صفائی ستھرائی ایک عوامی تحریک بن کر ابھری ہے۔ انہوں نے لوگوں پر زور دیا کہ اس تاریخی شہر کی ترقی کے لئے مل جل کر کام کیا جائے۔

Prime Minister speaks with the President of Iran

President Pezeshkian briefs PM on the recent developments in West Asia.
PM welcomes the understanding reached and reiterates the need for continued efforts for lasting peace and stability.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in West Asia and the way forward.

Prime Minister welcomed the understanding reached, and reiterated India’s consistent position that all issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Prime Minister reiterated the need for continued efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region, and for safeguarding freedom of navigation and commerce.
