The BRICS leaders' declaration for the 9th BRICS Summit calls for energizing the practical cooperation between the member countries. It states enhancing communication and coordination in improving global economic governance to foster a more just and equitable international economic order. It underlines international and regional peace and stability.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that respect for nature, the environment and the entire creation lies at the very core of our existence. He called upon everyone to participate, with a spirit of gratitude and selfless service towards nature, in building a healthy, prosperous and strong nation.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“शं नो द्यावापृथिवी पूर्वहूतौ शमन्तरिक्षं दृशये नो अस्तु।
शं न ओषधीर्वनिनो भवन्तु शं नो रजसस्पतिरस्तु जिष्णुः॥”
The Subhashitam conveys that May Dyuloka and the Earth, which have been revered since the beginning of creation, always be auspicious for us. May the intermediate space between the Earth and the Sun be beneficial and enlightening for our lives. May all medicinal herbs and forest plants provide us with health, nourishment, and happiness. May the all-pervading and victorious Lord of all worlds ever grant us welfare, peace, and prosperity.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
