Swachh Bharat Mission empowers the lives of our poor mothers and sisters: PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that It is a matter of joy for the whole country that the Swachh Bharat Mission has worked to empower the lives of our poor mothers and sisters.

Shri Modi also shared a creative video clip showing the importance of toilets for poor mothers and sisters.

The Prime Minister tweeted;

"देशभर के लिए यह हर्ष का विषय है कि स्वच्छ भारत मिशन ने हमारी गरीब माताओं और बहनों के जीवन को सशक्त बनाने का काम किया है..."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary today. Shri Modi commended her role in the movement to end colonial rule, her passion for community service and work in sectors like healthcare, women empowerment and culture.
