Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today lauded the enthusiastic participation of esteemed judges in the Van Mahotsav celebrations, highlighting their role in inspiring citizens towards environmental responsibility.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that their involvement would provide fresh momentum to the nationwide initiative, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, aimed at encouraging individuals to plant trees as a tribute to their mothers.

Responding to a post by Minister of Government of Delhi-NCT, Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa on X, Shri Modi wrote:

“वन महोत्सव में माननीय न्यायाधीशों की भागीदारी हर किसी को प्रेरित करने वाली है। मुझे विश्वास है कि ‘एक पेड़ मां के नाम’ अभियान को इससे एक नई गति मिलेगी।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II, the King of Jordan.

The Prime Minister conveyed deep concern at the evolving situation in the region. He reaffirmed support for the peace, security, and well-being of the people of Jordan.

The Prime Minister also thanked His Majesty for taking care of the Indian community in Jordan in this difficult hour.
