The Minister for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, today handed over cheques worth Rs. 15 crore for the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This amount has been donated by Public Sector Undertakings from the Steel and Mining sectors.
The Minister for State for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Shri Vishnudeo Sai, and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that several festivals are being celebrated across different parts of the country. He noted that on such occasions filled with joy and enthusiasm, the nation remains grateful to its hardworking farmer brothers and sisters who nourish the entire country.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“इत्थं फलति शुद्धेन सिक्तं सङ्कल्पवारिणा।
पुण्यबीजमपि स्वल्पं पुंसां कृषिकृतामिव॥”
The Subhashitam conveys that Just as a small seed sown by a farmer, when watered at the right time, gradually grows and yields a bountiful harvest, in the same way, even a small effort made with pure intentions leads a person to great success.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
“देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में अभी कई पर्व-त्योहार मनाए गए हैं। उमंग और उल्लास से भरे इन अवसरों के लिए हम अपने परिश्रमी किसान भाई-बहनों के कृतज्ञ हैं, जो पूरे देश का पोषण करते हैं।
