മ്യാന്മാറിലെ പ്രതിരോധ സേനകളുടെ സര്വ്വസൈന്യാധിപനായ, സീനിയര് ജനറല് യൂ മിന് ഓംഗ് ഹ്ലിയാംഗ് ന്യൂ ഡല്ഹിയില് ഇന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു.
അമര്നാഥ്യാത്രാ തീര്ത്ഥാടകര്ക്ക് നേരെ അടുത്തിടെയുണ്ടായ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തെ അപലപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, സീനിയര് ജനറല് യൂ മിന് ഓംഗ് ഹ്ലിയാംഗ് ആക്രമണത്തില് ജീവന് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരോടുള്ള അനുശോചനം അറിയിച്ചു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം ഏഴാം തീയതി ഉണ്ടായ വിമാന ദുരന്തത്തില് ജീവന് പൊലിഞ്ഞ മ്യാന്മാര് സായുധ സേവനാംഗങ്ങളോടും അവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളോടുമുള്ള തന്റെ അനുശോചനം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു.

ഇന്ത്യയും മ്യാന്മാറും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഉഭയകക്ഷി പ്രതിരോധ, സുരക്ഷാ സഹകരണത്തെ കുറിച്ച് സീനിയര് ജനറല് യൂ മിന് ഓംഗ് ഹ്ലിയാംഗ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ ധരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെയും സായുധ സേനകള് തമ്മിലുള്ള ഉറ്റ സഹകരണത്തില് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മതിപ്പ് പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു.
ഇന്ത്യയുടെ 'ആക്ട് ഈസ്റ്റ്' നയത്തിലെ ഒരു സുപ്രധാന സ്തംഭമാണ് മ്യാന്മാര് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, എല്ലാ മേഖലകളിലെയും ഉഭയകക്ഷി സഹകരണം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള തന്റെ ഉറച്ച പ്രതിബദ്ധത വ്യക്തമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു .
