પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે ગુજરાતના ડીસામાં બનાસકાંઠા સહકારી દૂધ ઉત્પાદક સંઘ (બનાસ ડેરી) દ્વારા આયોજિત એક કાર્યક્રમમાં હાજરી આપી હતી.
આ કાર્યક્રમમાં બનાસ ડેરીના સુવર્ણ જયંતીની ઉજવણી શરૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી.
આ પ્રસંગે પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ ચીઝ પ્લાન્ટનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કરવાના પ્રસંગની તકતીનું અનાવરણ કર્યું હતું અને રિમોટ કન્ટ્રોલ દ્વારા પાલનપુરમાં વે ડ્રાઇંગ પ્લાન્ટનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કર્યું હતું.
આ પ્રસંગે ઉપસ્થિત પ્રચંડ જનમેદનીને સંબોધતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ઉત્તર ગુજરાતના ખેડૂતોએ દુનિયાને પોતાની ક્ષમતા દેખાડી છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ઉત્તર ગુજરાતમાં ટપક સિંચાઈ પદ્ધતિ કેવી રીતે ખેડૂતોને લાભ કરે છે એની નોંધ લીધી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે,“અહીંના ખેડૂતો ડેરી અને પશુ સંવર્ધનની પ્રવૃત્તિ તરફ વળ્યા છે. તેનાથી ખેડૂતોને લાભ થયો છે. ‘અહીં શ્વેત ક્રાંતિ’ની સાથે ‘સ્વીટ ક્રાંતિ’ એટલે કે ‘મીઠી ક્રાંતિ’ પણ થઈ છે. લોકો મધમાંથી વિવિધ ઉત્પાદનો બનાવવાની તાલીમ લઈ રહ્યા છે.”
ડિમોનેટાઇઝેશન વિશે બોલતા પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, સરકાર આતંકવાદીઓનો નાણાકીય સ્ત્રોત નબળો પાડવામાં અને બનાવટી ચલણના કૌભાંડને તોડી પાડવામાં સફળ રહી છે.
શ્રી મોદીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, કેન્દ્ર સરકાર ગરીબોના કલ્યાણ માટે રાતદિવસ કામ કરે છે. તેમણે લોકોને ઇ-બેંકિંગ અને ઇ-વોલેટનો ઉપયોગ કરવા પ્રોત્સાહિત કર્યા હતા. તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ભારત વિકાસ કરવા ઇચ્છે છે એટલે આપણે ભ્રષ્ટાચાર અને કાળાં નાણાંના વિષચક્રને તોડવા પડશે.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on the triumph of truth:
The Subhashitam conveys that, truth always prevails and falsehood is ultimately destroyed. Therefore, one should follow the path on which the Sages attained bliss and realised the supreme truth.
