प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज गुजरात के दीसा में बनासकांठा सहकारी दुग्ध उत्पादक संघ (बनास डेयरी) द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।
इस आयोजन के साथ ही बनास डेयरी के स्वर्ण जयंती वर्ष के उत्सव का शुभारंभ हो गया।
इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने रिमोट कंट्रोल के जरिये पालनपुर में मट्ठा सुखाने के संयंत्र और एक पनीर संयंत्र के उद्घाटन के लिए एक पट्टिका का अनावरण किया।
प्रधानमंत्री ने विशाल सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि उत्तरी गुजरात के किसानों ने दुनिया को यह दिखा दिया है कि वे क्या करने में समर्थ हैं।
प्रधानमंत्री ने बताया कि ड्रिप सिंचाई से किस प्रकार उस क्षेत्र के किसानों को व्यापक लाभ हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘यहां के किसान डेयरी और पशुपालन करने लगे। यह किसानों के लिए फायदेमंद रहा।’ श्री मोदी ने कहा कि ‘श्वेत क्रांति’ के साथ-साथ ‘स्वीट क्रांति’ भी आ गई क्योंकि लोग अब शहद उत्पादन के बारे में प्रशिक्षित हो रहे हैं।
नोटबंदी के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार आतंकवादियों के हाथों को कमजोर करने और जाली मुद्रा के रैकेट पर लगाम लगाने में सफल रही है।
श्री मोदी ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार गरीबों के कल्याण के लिए अथक परीश्रम कर रही है। उन्होंने लोगों को ई-बैंकिंग और ई-वॉलेट के इस्तेमाल के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत प्रगति चाहता है और उसके लिए भ्रष्टाचार एवं कालेधन जैसी बुराइयों को खत्म करना जरूरी है।
