पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी गुजरातमधल्या दिसा इथे बनासकांठा सहकारी दूध उत्पादक संघाने आयोजित केलेल्या बनास डेरीच्या सुवर्ण महोत्सवी वर्षानिमित्त आयोजित कार्यक्रमाला आज उपस्थित होते.
चीझ कारखान्याच्या उद्घाटनानिमित्त पंतप्रधानांनी एका प्रतिकृतीचे आणि पालनपूर येथील दह्याशी संबंधित एका प्लांटचे रिमोट कंट्रोलद्वारा उद्घाटन केले.
उत्तर गुजरातमधल्या शेतकऱ्यांनी, आपल्या क्षमतेचे साऱ्या जगाला दर्शन घडवले आहे, असे पंतप्रधानांनी शेतकऱ्यांना संबोधित करताना सांगितले.
या भागातल्या शेतकऱ्यांना ठिबक सिंचनाचा मोठ्या प्रमाणात लाभ झाल्याची नोंद पंतप्रधानांनी घेतली. इथला शेतकरी दुग्धविकास आणि पशुपालनाकडे वळल्याचे सांगून शेतकऱ्यांसाठी हे लाभदायी असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. श्वेतक्रांती बरोबरच इथे आता स्वीट क्रांती अर्थात माधुर्य क्रांती होत आहे. कारण इथला शेतकरी आता मध उत्पादनातही तरबेज होत आहे.
विमुद्रीकरणासंदर्भात बोलताना पंतप्रधान म्हणाले की, या निर्णयामुळे दहशतवादी आणि बनावट नोटा रॅकेट कमकुवत करण्यात सरकार यशस्वी ठरत आहे.
गरीबांच्या कल्याणासाठी केंद्र सरकार अथक कार्य करत असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले. ई-बँकींग आणि ई-वॉलेट वापरावे यासाठी त्यांनी जनतेला प्रोत्साहन दिले. भारताला अधिक प्रगती करायची आहे आणि त्यासाठी भ्रष्टाचार आणि काळा पैसा नष्ट झाला पाहिजे, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.

The Prime Minister said that her passing is an irreparable loss to the world of music and culture. He noted that her songs in various languages were popular across generations and gave voice to every emotion with unparalleled grace and versatility.
