પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે (23 જૂન, 2018) રિમોટ દ્વારા રાજ્યનાં વિવિધ સ્થળો પર શહેરી વિકાસ પરિયોજનાઓનું ઉદઘાટન કર્યું હતું. આ યોજનાઓમાં પ્રધાનમંત્રી આવાસ યોજના હેઠળના આવાસો, શહેરી પાણી પૂરવઠા યોજનાઓ, શહેરોમાં ઘન કચરાનો નિકાલ, શહેરી સ્વચ્છતા, શહેરી પરિવહન અને શહેરી લેન્ડસ્કેપ પરિયોજનાઓનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.

ઇન્દોર ખાતે યોજાયેલા એક સમારંભમાં તેમણે સ્વચ્છ સર્વેક્ષણ પુરસ્કાર 2018નું વિતરણ કર્યું હતું અને સ્વચ્છ સર્વેક્ષણ 2018ના પરિણામોનું ડેશબોર્ડનો લૉન્ચ કર્યું હતુ.

આ પ્રસંગે એકત્ર થયેલી જંગી જનમેદનીને સંબોધન કરતાં પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું કે સ્વચ્છ ભારત એ મહાત્મા ગાંધીજીનું સપનું હતું, જે હવે 125 કરોડ ભારતીયોનો સંકલ્પ બની ચૂક્યો છે. સૌથી સ્વચ્છ શહેર તરીકેનો એવોર્ડ પ્રાપ્ત કરનારા ઇન્દોરનો ઉલ્લેખ કરીને તેમણે કહ્યું કે ઇન્દોરથી સમગ્ર દેશ પ્રેરણા લઈ શકે તેમ છે. તેમણે સૌથી સ્વચ્છ રાજ્ય તરીકે ઉત્તમ દેખાવ કરનાર 3 રાજ્યો ઝારખંડ, મહારાષ્ટ્ર અને છત્તીસગઢની પણ પ્રશંસા કરી હતી. સ્વચ્છતા ક્ષેત્રે થયેલી પ્રગતિની અંગે પણ તેમણે વાત કરી હતી.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કેન્દ્ર સરકાર કેવી રીતે ભારતમાં શહેરી માળખાગત સુવિધાઓમાં આધુનિકીકરણ લાવી રહી છે તે અંગે પણ વાત કરી હતી. સ્વચ્છ ભારત અભિયાન ઉપરાંત તેમણે પ્રધાનમંત્રી આવાસ યોજના (શહેરી), સ્માર્ટ સિટી અભિયાન, અમૃત અને દિનદયાળ ઉપાધ્યાય રાષ્ટ્રીય શહેરી આજીવિકા અભિયાનનો પણ ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો હતો. તેમણે ભારતના પ્રથમ સ્માર્ટ સિટી તરીકે થોડાં દિવસો પહેલાં નવા રાયપુરમાં ઈન્ટીગ્રેટેડ કમાન્ડ અને કન્ટ્રોલ સેન્ટરનું ઉદ્દઘાટન કર્યું હતું તેની પણ યાદ અપાવી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું કે આ પ્રકારની કવાયત હવે મધ્ય પ્રદેશના અન્ય શહેરોમાં પણ ચાલી રહી છે. તેમણે મધ્ય પ્રદેશમાં શહેરી વિકાસની હાથ ધરાયેલી વિવિધ પહેલો બાબતે થયેલી પ્રગતિ અંગે પણ વિગતે વાત કરી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું કે આજે જેનો પ્રારંભ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે તે આવાસ પરિયોજના મારફતે મધ્ય પ્રદેશના એક લાખથી વધુ આવાસ વગરના લોકોને તેમનું પોતાનું ઘર મળશે.

તેમણે કહ્યું કે ભારત સરકાર વર્ષ 2022 સુધીમાં તમામને માટે આવાસનું સ્વપ્ન સાકાર કરવાની દિશામાં કામ કરી રહી છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે આ ધ્યેય સિદ્ધ કરવા માટે છેલ્લા 4 વર્ષમાં અંદાજે 1.15 કરોડ આવાસોનું બાંધકામ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે અને લગભગ બે કરોડથી વધુ આવાસો બંધાઈ રહ્યા છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે પ્રધાનમંત્રી આવાસ યોજના પણ રોજગાર નિર્માણ અને મહિલા સશક્તિકરણનું સાધન બની રહી છે.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ વિકાસના અન્ય ક્ષેત્રોમાં થયેલી પ્રગતિ અંગે પણ વાત કરી હતી.

Prime Minister pays homage to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay on His Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today, paid tributes to the great Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay on his Jayanti, remembering him as a towering literary luminary whose writings ignited the spirit of patriotism and cultural pride among generations of Indians.

Highlighting the significance of the year, Shri Modi noted that India is commemorating the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram. He remarked that through Vande Mataram, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay gifted the Indian freedom movement and the nation one of its most enduring sources of inspiration.

মহান বঙ্কিম চন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের জয়ন্তীতে তাঁর প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি।
