প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী উত্তরাখণ্ড সরকারের মন্ত্রী চন্দন রাম দাসের প্রয়াণে গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী তাঁর ট্যুইটে বলেন :
“উত্তরাখণ্ড সরকারের মন্ত্রী চন্দন রাম দাসজির প্রয়াণে আমি মর্মাহত। উত্তরাখণ্ডের উন্নয়নে তাঁর বিশেষ উল্লেখযোগ্য ভূমিকা ছিল। জনগণের সেবায় নিয়োজিত ছিলেন তিনি। শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার ও তাঁর সমর্থকদের জানাই সমবেদনা। ওঁ শান্তি!”
