نئی دلّی ،25 جون؍ وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے آج یوگانڈا میں مقیم ہندوستانی برادری سے خطاب کیا ۔ کمپالا میں منعقد اس تقریب میں یوگانڈا کے صدر موسیوینی نے بھی شرکت کی ۔
وزیر اعظم نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ یوگانڈا میں مقیم ہندوستانی برادری سے مل کر انہیں اپنائیت کا احساس ہوا ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ا س تقریب میں صدر موسیوینی کی شرکت ہندوستانی برادری کے تئیں

ان کی محبت اور یوگانڈا میں مقیم ہندوستانیوں کی محبت کا مظہر ہے ۔انہوں نے بدھ کے روز یوگانڈا کی پارلیمنٹ سے خطاب کرنے کے اعزاز کے لئے صدر موسیوینی اور یوگانڈا کے عوام کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا ۔
انہوں نے بھارتی برادری کی اپنے اندر بھارت کو زندہ رکھنے کے جذبے کی ستائش کی جس کی عکاسی اس موقع پر پیش کئے گئے عکاس ثقافتی پروگراموں کے ذریعہ کی گئی ۔

وزیر اعظم نے اعتراف کیا کہ یوگانڈا سمیت تمام افریقی ممالک بھارت کے لئے اہم ہیں ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ نو آبادیاتی نظام کے خلاف جدو جہد ، ایک بڑی تعدادمیں مقیم ہندوستانی برادری اور مشترکہ ترقیاتی چیلنج اس کی وجوہات ہیں ۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارت آج دنیا کی تیز رفتار ترین اقتصادی ترقی کرنے والے ممالک میں شامل ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارت بھارت کاریں اور اسمارٹ فون برآمد کر رہا ہے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈیجیٹل ترقیات کا مطلب اب بھارت کے عوام کا با اختیار ہونا ہے اور ملک اسٹارٹ اپ کے ایک انتہائی اہم مرکز کے طور پر ابھر رہا ہے ۔
وزیر اعظم نے بھارت کی غیر ملکی پالیسی میں افریقہ کی اہمیت کے بارے میں روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے نئی دلّی میں 2015 میں منعقدہ انڈیا ۔ افریقہ فورم سمٹ کا حوالہ دیا ۔ اس کے علاوہ انہوں نے بھارت اور دیگر

افریقی ممالک کے درمیان اعلیٰ سطحی باہمی میٹنگوں کا بھی حوالہ دیا ۔
وزیر اعظم نے اس کے علاوہ پہل قدمیوں مثلاً تین بلین ڈالر کے بقدر سے زائد کے قرضے ، اسکالر شپ اور ای ۔ ویزا کے انتظامات کا بھی ذکر کیا ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ انٹر نیشنل سولر الائنس ( بین الاقوامی شمسی اتحاد ) کے تمام ممبر ممالک میں سے نصف کے قریب افریقہ سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں ۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ایشیا اور افریقہ کی قومیں ایک نئے عالمی آرڈر میں اہم رول ادا کر رہے ہیں ۔

Prime Minister reaffirms commitment to wildlife conservation on World Wildlife Day; shares Sanskrit Subhashitam

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that World Wildlife Day is about celebrating the incredible faunal diversity that enriches our planet and sustains our ecosystems. He said it is a day to acknowledge everyone working towards wildlife protection and reaffirm our commitment to conservation, sustainable practices and protecting habitats so that wildlife continues to thrive.

The Prime Minister noted that India cherishes being home to some of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife. He highlighted that India is home to over 70% of the world’s tiger population, has the largest population of the one-horned rhino and the maximum number of Asiatic elephants. He further stated that India is the only place in the world where the majestic Asiatic lion thrives.

The Prime Minister underlined that the Government has undertaken numerous efforts for wildlife protection. These include the setting up of the International Big Cat Alliance as an exceptional forum to share best practices with fellow nations. Other efforts include initiatives aimed at protecting the Great Indian Bustard, Gharial and Sloth Bear, as well as the translocation of cheetahs.

Emphasising India’s cultural ethos, the Prime Minister said that our scriptures pray for the welfare of all living beings and inspire sensitivity towards wildlife along with conservation. He shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam on this occasion which says-

“निर्वनो वध्यते व्याघ्रो निर्व्याघ्रं छिद्यते वनम्। तस्माद् व्याघ्रो वनं रक्षेद् वनं व्याघ्रं च पालयेत्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that without forests, tigers perish; and without tigers, forests are destroyed. Therefore, the tiger protects the forest and the forest protects the tiger, underscoring the deep interdependence of nature.

In a series of X posts, Shri Modi said;
