وزیر اعظم جناب نریندر مودی کی صدارت میں اقتصادی امور کی کابینہ کمیٹی(سی سی ای اے) نے فوڈ کارپوریشن آف انڈیا (ایف سی آئی) میں مالی سال 2024-25 میں ورکنگ کیپٹل کے لیے 10,700 کروڑ روپے کی ایکویٹی ڈالنے کو منظوری دی ہے۔ اس فیصلے کا مقصد زرعی شعبے کو تقویت دینا اور ملک بھر میں کسانوں کی فلاح و بہبود کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔ یہ اسٹریٹجک پہل کسانوں کی مددکرنے اور ہندوستان کی زرعی معیشت کو مضبوط بنانے کے لئے حکومت کی ثابت قدمی کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔

ایف سی آئی نے اپنا سفر 1964 میں 100 کروڑ روپے کے مجاز سرمائے  اور 4 کروڑ روپے  کی ایکویٹی ساتھ شروع کیاتھا۔  ایف سی آئی کے کاموں میں کئی گنا اضافہ ہوا جس کے نتیجے میں فروری 2023 میں مجاز سرمایہ 11,000 کروڑ سے روپے سے بڑھ کر  21,000 کروڑ روپےہوگیا۔ ایف سی آئی کی ایکویٹی مالی سال 2019-20 میں 4,496 کروڑ روپے تھی  جو مالی سال 2023-24 میں  بڑھ کر 10,157کروڑ روپے ہو گئی۔ اب، حکومت ہندنے ایف سی آئی کے لیے 10,700 کروڑ روپے کی اہم رقم کی ایکویٹی کو منظوری دی ہے جو اسے مالی طور پر مضبوط کرے گا اور اس کی تبدیلی کے لیے اٹھائے گئے اقدامات کو بڑا فروغ دے گی۔

ایف سی آئی کم از کم امدادی قیمت(ایم ایس پی) پر غذائی اجناس کی خریداری، اسٹریٹجک غذائی اجناس کے ذخیرے کی دیکھ بھال، فلاحی اقدام کے لیے خوراک کی تقسیم اور بازار میں غذائی اجناس کی قیمتوں کے استحکام کے ذریعے غذائی تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔

ایکویٹی ڈالنا ایف سی آئی کے مینڈیٹ کو مؤثر طریقے سے پورا کرنے میں آپریشنل صلاحیتوں کو بڑھانے کی طرف ایک اہم قدم ہے۔ ایف سی آئی فنڈ کی ضرورت کے فرق کو پورا کرنے کے لیے مختصر مدت کے قرضوں کا سہارا لیتا ہے۔ ایکویٹی کی یہ شمولیت سود کے بوجھ کو کم کرنے میں مدد کرے گی اور بالآخر حکومت ہند کی سبسڈی کو کم کرے گی۔

ایم ایس پی پر مبنی خریداری اور ایف سی آئی کی آپریشنل صلاحیتوں میں سرمایہ کاری کے لیے حکومت کی دوہری وابستگی کسانوں کو بااختیار بنانے، زرعی شعبے کو مضبوط بنانے، اور ملک کے لیے غذائی تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ایک مشترکہ کوشش کی نشاندہی کرتی ہے۔

PM to Address Youth at Khelo India Dialogue on 27th August

Khelo India Dialogue will bring together sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering, fitness and nation-building on a common platform
Yuva Samvaad under Khelo India Dialogue to Focus on Five Key Themes: Sports, Olympic Aspirations, Youth Leadership, Viksit Bharat and Nasha Mukt Yuva

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address Khelo India Dialogue on 27th August at 11 AM via video conferencing. The programme aims to help the youth engage with India's sporting journey, share their aspirations, and contribute ideas for a stronger youth-led Viksit Bharat.

Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), as part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations, the programme will be conducted across the country with participation of youth at two colleges in every district across States and Union Territories. The programme is being held in line with the Prime Minister's vision of building a fit, disciplined and sporting nation while placing the aspirations of youth at the centre of the national development agenda.

The nationwide Khelo India Dialogue will bring together sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering, fitness and nation-building on a common platform. It will provide a direct channel for young people to engage with the country's sporting ambitions, while ensuring that their ideas and perspectives become part of the continuing conversation on India's youth and sports ecosystem.

The national programme will be followed by local interactions involving young participants, MY Bharat volunteers, local sportspersons and public representatives. A major feature of the initiative will be direct interaction between youth having interest in sports and leading Indian athletes and medal winners. A central feature of the programme will be Yuva Samvaad where Young participants will be invited to articulate their own ideas, perspectives and aspirations. The dialogue will be structured around five themes:

  • improving India's sports ecosystem through better facilities, coaching, sports science and inclusive participation;
  • nurturing talent for the 2036 Olympics via scientific talent identification, transparent selection and long-term athlete development;
  • creating youth leaders through governance platforms and MY Bharat-led volunteering;
  • empowering youth for Viksit Bharat by building civic mindedness, future-ready skills and structured volunteering;
  • promoting a Nasha Mukt Yuva movement that leverages sport and peer networks to fight substance abuse, reinforced by weekly Jan Bhagidari activities under PM's 100-week nationwide campaign launched on 2 August 2026.
