டிசம்பர் 24 2018 அன்று பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி ஒடிசா மாநிலத்திற்கு பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார்.

புவனேஸ்வரில் உள்ள இந்திய தொழில்நுட்பக் கழகத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில், பைக்கா கிளர்ச்சி நினைவாக அஞ்சல் தலை மற்றும் நாணயத்தை வெளியிட்டார். 1817 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஒடிசாவில் வீரம் செறிந்த பைக்கா இன மக்கள் ஆங்கிலேயர்களுக்கு எதிராக போராட்டம் மேற்கொண்டனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

புவனேஸ்வரில் உள்ள உத்கல் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பைக்கா கிளர்ச்சி பற்றிய ஆய்வு மேற்கொள்வதற்காக தனி பிரிவு அமைக்கப்படும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

லலித் கிரி அருங்காட்சியகத்தையும் பிரதமர் திறந்து வைத்தார். ஒடிசாவில் உள்ள லலித் கிரி மிகவும் பிரபலமான தொல்லியல் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த புத்த மத மையம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இங்கு ஸ்தூபிகள், விகாரங்கள் மற்றும் புத்தர் சிலைகள் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

ஐ ஐ டி புவனேஸ்வர் வளாகத்தை பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி நாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தார். புவனேஸ்வரில் உள்ள புதிய ஈ எஸ் ஐ சி மருத்துவமனையையும் அவர் துவக்கி வைத்தார். மேலும் அவர் எரிவாயு குழாய் மற்றும் சாலைத் திட்டத்திற்கான அடிக்கல்லை நாட்டினார்.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய பிரதமர், இன்று துவங்கப்பட்ட அல்லது அடிக்கல் நாட்டப்பட்ட திட்டங்களின் மொத்த மதிப்பு ரூ.14 ஆயிரம் கோடியாகும் என்று தெரிவித்தார். மத்திய அரசு கிழக்கு இந்தியாவை தெற்காசியாவின் நுழைவாயிலாக மேம்படுத்துவதை லட்சியமாக கொண்டுள்ளது என்று பிரதமர் கூறினார்.

ஐ ஐ டி புவனேஸ்வர், ஒடிசாவின் தொழில் வளர்ச்சியை அதிகரித்து, மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்தை உயர்த்தக்கூடிய தொழில் நுட்பங்களை கொண்டு வரும் வகையில் செயல்படும் என்று கூறினார்.

ஒடிசா மாநிலத்தில் சுகாதார உள்கட்டமைப்பு, சாலைகள் இணைப்பு, எண்ணெய் மற்றும் எரிவாயு குழாய்கள் உள்கட்டமைப்பு போன்ற விரிவாக்கத் திட்டங்கள் குறித்தும் பிரதமர் விவரித்தார்.

ஒடிசாவின் ஒட்டுமொத்த வளர்ச்சிக்காக மத்திய அரசு உறுதிபூண்டுள்ளதை பிரதமர் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of numerous lives in the tragic air accident in Ahmedabad . He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families, acknowledging the immense pain and loss they are enduring.

Earlier today, Shri Modi visited the crash site in Ahmedabad to assess the situation firsthand. He met with officials and emergency response teams working tirelessly in the aftermath of the disaster.

“We are all devastated by the air tragedy in Ahmedabad. The loss of so many lives in such a sudden and heartbreaking manner is beyond words. Condolences to all the bereaved families. We understand their pain and also know that the void left behind will be felt for years to come. Om Shanti.”
