பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று பாட்னா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நூற்றாண்டு விழாவில் பங்கேற்று உரையாற்றினார். பாட்னா பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கு வருகை தருவதும் மாணவர்களடையில் இருப்பதும் தனக்குக் கவுரவம் அளிப்பதாகப் பிரதமர் கூறினார். “இந்த பீகார் மண்ணுக்குத் தலை வணங்குகிறேன். இந்நாட்டுக்கு மிகப் பெரிய அளவில் பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ள மாணவர்களை இந்தப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் வளர்த்திருக்கிறது” என்று குறிப்பிட்டார்.
“மாநிலம் முழுவதும் பார்த்துவிட்டேன். உயர்நிலையில் உள்ள குடிமைப்பணி அலுவலர்களில் முன்னணியில் இருப்போர் பாட்னா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் படித்தவர்கள். தில்லியில் நான் ஏராளமான அதிகாரிகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடுகிறேன். அவர்களில் பலர் பீகாரைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள்“ என்றும் பிரதமர் கூறினார்.
திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி பேசுகையில், “பீகார் மாநிலத்தின் முன்னேற்றம் அடைவதற்காக முதலமைச்சர் திரு. நிதீஷ்குமாரின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு பராட்டத் தக்கது. கீழை இந்தியாவின் வளர்ச்சிக்காக அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கிறது” என்றும் கூறினார்.
பிரதமர் மேலும் பேசுகையில், “இந்த உலகமயமாதல் யுகத்தில், உலகில் மாறி வரும் போக்குகளையும் அதிகரித்துவரும் போட்டித்தன்மையையும் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். இந்த் சூழ்நிலையில், இந்தியா உலகில் தனக்கென ஓர் இடத்தை அடையவேண்டும்” என்றும் கூறினார்.
“மக்கள் எதிர்கொண்டுவரும் பல்வேறு பிரச்சினைகளைத் தீர்ப்பதற்கு மாணவர்கள் புதிய தீர்வுகளைக் காண்பது குறித்து யோசனை செய்ய வேண்டும்” என்று பிரதமர் வலியுறுத்தினார்.
மாணவர்கள் தாங்கள் கற்பதைப் பயன்படுத்துவதன் மூலமும் தொடக்கநிலைத் தொழில் மூலமும் சமூகத்திற்கு ஏராளமாக பங்களிக்க முடியும் என்றும் பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
பின்னர் பாட்னா பல்கலைக்கழகத்திலிருந்து விமான நிலையத்திற்குத் திரும்பும் வழியில், பிரதமர், பீகார் முதலமைச்சர் மற்றும் முக்கியப் பிரமுகர்கள் பீகார் மாநிலத்தின் வளமான பண்பாட்டையும் வரலாற்றையும் விவரிக்கும் பீகார் அருங்காட்சியகத்துக்கு வருகை புரிந்தனர்.
