ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ఈ రోజు పట్నా విశ్వవిద్యాలయం శతాబ్ది ఉత్సవాలలో పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు. పట్నా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాన్ని సందర్శించడం, విద్యార్థుల మధ్య గడపడం తనకు దక్కిన గౌరవంగా తాను భావిస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన చెప్పారు. ‘‘ఈ బిహార్ గడ్డకు నేను ప్రణమిల్లుతున్నాను. ఈ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం దేశానికి ఘనమైన సేవలను అందించిన విద్యార్థులను తీర్చిదిద్దింది’’ అని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు.
రాష్ట్రాలన్నింటా ప్రజా సేవలో ఉన్నత స్థానాలలో ఉన్న వారు పట్నా విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో చదువుకున్నారన్న సంగతిని తాను గమనించినట్లు ప్రధాన మంత్రి వివరించారు. ‘‘ఢిల్లీ లో నేను అనేక మంది అధికారులతో మాట్లాడుతాను, వారిలో చాలా మంది బిహార్ కు చెందిన వారే’’ అని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు.
రాష్ట్ర పురోగతి పట్ల బిహార్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నీతీశ్ కుమార్ చూపుతున్న నిబద్ధత అభినందించదగ్గదని శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ చెప్పారు. తూర్పు భారతావని పురోభివృద్ధికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అగ్రతాంబూలాన్ని ఇస్తోందని కూడా ఆయన వివరించారు.
జ్ఞానం మరియు గంగ.. ఇవి రెండూ బిహార్ కు అందిన దీవెనలు అని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు. ఈ నేల కు ఉన్నటువంటి వారసత్వం అపూర్వం అని ఆయన చెప్పారు. మన విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు సంప్రదాయక విద్యాబోధన నుండి వినూత్న జ్ఞాన బోధ దిశగా పయనించవలసిన అవసరం ఉందని ఆయన అన్నారు.
మనం ప్రస్తుత ప్రపంచీకరణ యుగంలో ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా మార్పులకు లోనవుతున్నటువంటి ధోరణులను, పెరిగిపోతున్నటువంటి స్పర్ధాత్మకత యొక్క స్ఫూర్తిని ఆకళింపు చేసుకోవలసిన అవసరం ఉందని ప్రధాన మంత్రి అన్నారు. ఈ దృష్టికోణంలో నుండి చూస్తూ భారతదేశం ప్రపంచంలో తన స్థానాన్ని పదిలపరచుకోవాలని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
ప్రజలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలకు కొత్త కొత్త పరిష్కారమార్గాలను ఆలోచించండంటూ విద్యార్థులను ఆయన కోరారు. వారు తాము నేర్చుకొన్న దానిని వినియోగంలోకి తీసుకురావడం ద్వారానూ, స్టార్ట్- అప్ రంగం ద్వారానూ సమాజానికి వారు చేయగలిగింది ఎంతో ఉందని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
పట్నా విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి విమానాశ్రయానికి తిరిగి వెళ్లేటప్పుడు ప్రధాన మంత్రి, బిహార్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి, తదితర ఉన్నతాధికారులు మార్గ మధ్యంలో బిహార్ వస్తు ప్రదర్శన శాలను సందర్శించారు; రాష్ట్రం యొక్క ఘనమైన సంస్కృతిని మరియు సుసంపన్నమైనటువంటి చరిత్రను బిహార్ వస్తు ప్రదర్శన శాల కళ్లకు కడుతుంది.
