The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid tributes to the great saint Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj ji, on his birth anniversary. Shri Modi stated that in his thoughts, the spirit of justice and compassion was supreme, which forms the very foundation of our schemes for public welfare. “The lamp of social harmony and goodwill that he ignited will forever continue to illuminate the path of the countrymen”, Shri Modi said.

Shri Modi posted on X:

"मानवता के अनन्य उपासक महान संत श्री गुरु रविदास महाराज जी को उनकी जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन। उनके विचारों में न्याय और करुणा का भाव सर्वोपरि था, जो जनकल्याण की हमारी योजनाओं के मूल में है। उन्होंने सामाजिक समरसता और सद्भावना के जिस दीप को प्रज्वलित किया, वह देशवासियों के पथ को सदैव आलोकित करता रहेगा।”

Prime Minister condoles the loss of lives in a fire mishap in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

The Prime Minister has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire incident in Indore and has announced ex-gratia for the affected families.

Expressing deep pain over the loss of lives in the Indore fire mishap, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured. Shri Modi further announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased, while the injured would be provided Rs. 50,000.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"Deeply pained by the loss of lives in a fire mishap in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
