PM lauds effort to promote Astro Night Sky Tourism

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has lauded the effort to promote Astro Night Sky Tourism by Goa Science Centre & Planetarium as people flock to Miramar beach to have an unforgettable experience of observing the night sky through telescope.

Sharing a tweet by National Council of Science Museums, the Prime Minister tweeted;

“Happy to see such efforts pick pace. I had also spoken about India’s rich heritage in astronomy during a Mann Ki Baat episode a few years ago. “

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary today. Shri Modi commended her role in the movement to end colonial rule, her passion for community service and work in sectors like healthcare, women empowerment and culture.

In separate posts on X, the PM said:
