PM congratulates Lalitha Killaka for winning silver in women’s 1500m-T11 at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today congratulated Lalitha Killaka as she secured a silver medal in the women’s 1500m-T11 at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.

He also praised her exceptional feat and determination.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"A moment of pride for India as Lalitha Killaka secures the Silver Medal in the Women's 1500m-T11. Her exceptional performance and steadfast determination are truly commendable. May she keep scaling new heights and achieving more!"

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary today. Shri Modi commended her role in the movement to end colonial rule, her passion for community service and work in sectors like healthcare, women empowerment and culture.
