PM visits Varanasi Unveils Lal Bahadur Shastri statue at Varanasi airport

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today, visited Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and took part in various programs.

The Prime Minister unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister Sh.Lal Bahadur Shastri at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi.

He then launched the tree-plantation drive atAnand Kanan Vatika in Varanasi.

 

 

 

Later in the day, the Prime Minister visited the virtual museum at Man Mahal.

 

The museum situated near Dashashwamedh Ghat,is a cultural landmark in the city of Varanasi, showcasing the various aspects of our cultural heritage.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated the Indian cricket team on winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Shri Modi said that remarkable triumph reflects exceptional skills, determination and teamwork. He noted that the team showed outstanding grit through the tournament.
