Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a huge rally in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi said that it was clear after seeing the enthusiasm of people that people of Uttar Pradesh needs change.

Hitting out at the previous governments, the PM said, “Had heard about Badaun even when I was in Gujarat. What is the reason that fruits of development could not reach this land under SP, BSP.”

PM Modi remarked, “Our Govt is devoted to serve the poor, marginalized & farmers. We are initiating several steps uplift them.”

PM attacked the opposition and said, “Why is it that even after 70 years of independence, 18,000 villages did not have electricity.” He further added, “Around 500 villages in Badaun lack power supply. What have previous governments done so far? They must answer.”

He alleged that the SP government in the state was unable to protect the people of Uttar Pradesh against criminals “Why is the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh sheltering criminals?” he remarked.

PM Modi thanked the people of Uttar Pradesh for their support for making BJP win in 3 MLC seats in UP. “I congratulate & thank every people of Uttar Pradesh for supporting BJP & making our party win in MLC elections”, he said.

PM Modi remarked that to reduce corruption his govt has decided to eliminate interviews for jobs for grade 3 and 4 in Government, “We eliminated interview processes for class III & IV jobs. This has reduced corruption.” He further added, “For political gains, UP government played with aspirations of youth in the state.”

PM Modi said that welfare of farmers is most important for NDA Government. Prime Minister Modi spoke about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and said, “We have brought the Fasal Bima Yojana which is benefiting several but why has SP government not implemented it?”

Several party karykartas and leaders were also present at the event.
