പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി തന്റെ രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തെ ഗുജറാത്ത് സന്ദര്ശനത്തിനു ദ്വാരകയിലെ ദ്വാരകാധീശ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തുടക്കമിട്ടു.
ഓഖയ്ക്കും ബേഠ് ദ്വാരകയ്ക്കും ഇടയിലുള്ള പാലത്തിന്റെയും മറ്റു റോഡ് വികസനപദ്ധതികളുടെയും ശിലാസ്ഥാപനം അദ്ദേഹം നിര്വഹിച്ചു.
ദ്വാരകയില് ഇന്നു പുതിയ ഊര്ജവും ആവേശവും ഉള്ളതായി തനിക്ക് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടുവെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. തറക്കല്ലിടപ്പെട്ട പാലം നമ്മെ പ്രാചീന പൈതൃകവുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കാന് ഉതകുന്നതാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. അതു വിനോദസഞ്ചാരത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും അതുവഴി തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങള് സഷ്ടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമെന്നു സൂചിപ്പിച്ച പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, വികസനമാണു വിനോദസഞ്ചാരത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതില് ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനമെന്നു വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ഏതാനും വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു മുന്പുവരെ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങളുടെ അഭാവം നിമിത്തം എന്തെല്ലാം ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകളും വെല്ലുവിളികളുമാണ് ബേഠ് ദ്വാരകയിലെ ജനങ്ങള് നേരിടേണ്ടിവന്നിരുന്നതെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ഓര്മിപ്പിച്ചു.
വിനോദസഞ്ചാര മേഖലയുടെ വികാസം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട നിലയില് സംഭവിക്കില്ലെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഗിറിലേക്കു കൂടുതല് വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളെ എത്തിക്കണമെങ്കില് തൊട്ടടുത്ത പ്രദേശമായ ദ്വാരകയും മറ്റും സന്ദര്ശിക്കാന് സഞ്ചാരികളെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നു ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
അടിസ്ഥാനസൗകര്യം വര്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് വര്ധിക്കുന്നതിനും വികസനത്തെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും സഹായകമായ വിധത്തില് വേണം. തുറമുഖങ്ങള് വികസിപ്പിക്കുകയും തുറമുഖങ്ങള് വഴിയുള്ള വികസനം സാധ്യമാക്കുകയും വേണം. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വികസനത്തെ മുന്നോട്ടു നയിക്കുന്നതു നാവിക സമ്പദ്വ്യവസ്ഥ ആയിരിക്കണമെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തു.
മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ശാക്തീകരണത്തിനായി ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് നടപടികള് എടുത്തുവരികയാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. വിഭവലഭ്യത ഉറപ്പാക്കിയതിനാല് കാണ്ട്ല തുറമുഖം അഭൂതപൂര്വമായ വളര്ച്ച നേടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. അലാങ്കിനു പുതുജീവന് പകരാന് സാധിച്ചുവെന്നും അവിടെയുള്ള തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി നടപടികള് കൈക്കൊണ്ടുവെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം അറിയിച്ചു.
നാവിക സുരക്ഷാ സംവിധാനം ആധുനികവല്കരിക്കാന് ഗവണ്മെന്റ് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചുവരികയാണെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതിനായി ദ്വാരകയിലെ ദേവ്ഭൂമിയില് ഒരു വിദഗ്ധകേന്ദ്രം സ്ഥാപിക്കും.
ഇന്നലെ നടന്ന ജി.എസ്.ടി. കൗണ്സിലില് സമവായത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് കൈക്കൊണ്ട തീരുമാനങ്ങള് വിശദീകരിക്കവേ, ഗവണ്മെന്റില് വിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയും നല്ല ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ തീരുമാനങ്ങള് കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്ന സാഹചര്യം ഉണ്ടാവുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് ദേശതാല്പര്യത്തിനായി ജനങ്ങള് പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുക സ്വാഭാവികമാണെന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
ജനങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷകള് യാഥാര്ഥ്യമാക്കാനും ദാരിദ്ര്യത്തിനെതിരെ പോരാടാനും ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതായി അദ്ദേഹം ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു.
ലോകത്തിന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നും ഇവിടെ നിക്ഷേപം നടത്താന് ആള്ക്കാര് മുന്നോട്ടുവന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. ‘ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വികസനത്തിനായി ഗുജറാത്ത് സജീവമായ സംഭാവനകള് അര്പ്പിക്കുന്നതായി കാണുന്നു. ഇതിനു ഗുജറാത്ത് ഗവണ്മെന്റിനെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.’ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
