പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്രമോദി ഉത്തരാഘണ്ഡ് സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു. കേദാര്നാഥ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നടത്തിയ അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന തടിച്ചുകൂടിയ ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തിന് ആശംസകള് നേര്ന്നു.
പിന്നീടദ്ദേഹം ഹരിദ്വാര് ജില്ലയില് പതജ്ഞലി റിസര്ച്ച് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സ്വാമി രാംദേവ്, ആചാര്യ ബാല്കൃഷ്ണ എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം അദ്ദേഹം ഡ്രഗ് ഡിസ്കവറി ആന്റ് റിസര്ച്ച് ലബോറട്ടറി ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു.
നാം ചരിത്രപരമായി അഭിമാനം കൊള്ളുന്ന പൈതൃകത്തെ നാം ഹനിക്കുകയോ, മറക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം തദവസരത്തില് ആത്മവിശ്വാസം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു. നമ്മുടെ പിന്ഗാമികളുടെ ഗവേഷണത്വര തീര്ച്ചയായും കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
കൂടുതല് ജനങ്ങളും സാധിക്കുമെങ്കില് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര യോഗാ ദിനത്തില് ഒന്നിച്ച് പങ്കാളികളാകണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു. ആരോഗ്യത്തിന്റെയും സൗഖ്യങ്ങളുടെയും വിവിധ വശങ്ങള് ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന പുതിയ ആരോഗ്യനയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു.
ശുചിത്വം അഥവാ വൃത്തിയാക്കലാണ് ആരോഗ്യസംരക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യവശമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ലോക ആയുര്വേദ സസ്യ എന്സൈക്ലോപീഡിയയും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പ്രകാശനം ചെയ്തു.
