കോമണ്വെല്ത്ത് ഗെയിംസില് പുരുഷവിഭാഗം 77 കിലോഗ്രാം ഭാരോദ്വഹനത്തില് സ്വര്ണമെഡല് നേടിയ സതീഷ് കുമാര് ശിവലിംഗത്തെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
‘ഇന്ത്യന് വെയ്റ്റ്ലിഫ്റ്റര്മാര് മെഡല്പട്ടികയിലുള്ള നമ്മുടെ സ്ഥാനവും ഉയര്ത്തുകയാണ്. 77 കിലോഗ്രാം വിഭാഗത്തില് സ്വര്ണം നേടിയ സതീഷ് കുമാര് ശിവലിംഗത്തിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്. രണ്ടു കോമണ്വെല്ത്ത് ഗെയിംസില് തുടര്ച്ചയായും ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോ 2014ലും ഗോള്ഡ് കോസ്റ്റ് 2018ലും സ്വര്ണം നേടി അദ്ദേഹം ചരിത്രപുസ്തകത്തില് ഇടം നേടിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്’, പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
