മികച്ച മാര്‍ക്കുകള്‍ ലഭിച്ചു എന്നാല്‍ ഒരാള്‍ വിജയിച്ചു എന്നാണോ അതിന് അര്‍ത്ഥം? പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറയുന്നതു കേള്‍ക്കൂ.

ടൗണ്‍ഹാളില്‍ നടന്ന പരീക്ഷ പെ ചര്‍ച്ചയില്‍,  പരീക്ഷയിലെ ജയപരാജയ ങ്ങളാണോ എല്ലാം നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന്, പരീക്ഷയ്ക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന മികച്ച മാര്‍ക്കുകളാണ് എല്ലാത്തിനും നിര്‍ണായക ഘടകം എന്ന മാനസിക അവസ്ഥയില്‍ നിന്നു കുട്ടികള്‍ പുറത്തുവരണമെന്ന്  ചോദ്യത്തിനുത്തരമായി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മോദി കുട്ടികളെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു.
മാര്‍ക്കുകളല്ല ജീവിതം, പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി കൂട്ടി ചേര്‍ത്തു. പരീക്ഷയല്ല നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തെ മുഴുവന്‍ നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത്. അത് ഒരു ചവിട്ടു പടി മാത്രം. ജീവിതത്തിലെ സുപ്രധാനമായ ഒരു ചവിട്ടുപടി മാത്രം.  അതിനാല്‍ പരീക്ഷയാണ് എല്ലാം എന്ന് കുട്ടികളോടു പറയരുത് എന്നു ഞാന്‍ മാതാപിതാക്കളോട് അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. ചെറുപ്പക്കാര്‍ക്കു തെരഞ്ഞെടു ക്കുവാന്‍ ഇന്ന് എണ്ണമറ്റ അവസരങ്ങള്‍ ലഭ്യമാണ് എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
