Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party of Nepal meets Prime Minister

The Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party of Nepal, Mr. Rabi Lamichhane today met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister expressed his delight upon the meeting and stated that he welcomes and fully shares Mr. Lamichhane's desire to work closely together for a shared and prosperous future.

Shri Modi noted that Nepal is a priority partner under the Neighbourhood First policy. The Prime Minister affirmed that India looks forward to collaborating with the new government to elevate the special and multifaceted relationship between the two countries to greater heights.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Delighted to meet the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party of Nepal Mr. Rabi Lamichhane. I welcome and fully share his desire to work closely together for a shared and prosperous future.

Nepal is a priority partner under our Neighbourhood First policy and we look forward to collaborating with the new government to elevate the special and multifaceted relationship between our two countries to greater heights."

Prime Minister condoles loss of lives in a fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today described the loss of lives due to a fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, as tragic. He extended his heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He noted that authorities are providing all possible assistance to those affected.

The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the next of kin of each deceased. Shri Modi also stated that Rs. 50,000 would be provided to those who sustained injuries in the incident.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
