ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ഗാന്ധിനഗറിലെ അക്ഷർധാം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ രജതജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങളിൽ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി പ്രമുഖ സ്വാമി ജിയുടെയും , ബി.എ.പി.എസ്. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെയും 'പങ്കിനെ എടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞു . ആളുകളുടെ ജീവിതം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിൽ അദ്ദേഹം കൂടുതൽ താല്പര്യം കാണിച്ചിരുന്നു. പ്രമുഖ സ്വാമി ജി സമൂഹത്തിൽ പരിവർത്തന മാറ്റം വരുത്തിയതായി ശ്രീ മോദി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. പ്രമുഖ സ്വാമി എന്ന വ്യക്തിയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു പ്രത്യേകത ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാലം മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം അദ്ദേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ മാറുന്ന സമയത്തിനൊപ്പം അതിൽ മാനുഷികമായ ഒരു മനോവികാരം അദ്ദേഹം നിലനിർത്തിയിരുന്നു .
അക്ഷർധാം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ 'ഭാവവ്യ', 'ദിവ്യാത' എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ശ്രീ മോദി പറഞ്ഞു. "അക്ഷർധാം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ മികച്ച ഭരണത്തിന്റെയും സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെയും ഉദ്ധാഹരണമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു . ഇതിന്, പ്രമുഖ സ്വാമി ജിയോട് ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും കടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു . "
പ്രമുഖ സ്വാമി ജി നമ്മളെ , മറിച്ചു മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കുവേണ്ടി ജീവിക്കാൻ പഠിപ്പിച്ചു, എന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഓർമപ്പെടുത്തി .സാധാരണനില പുനരധിവസിപ്പിക്കാനും ജനങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കുന്നതിനും നവനിർമാൻ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ബി.എ.പി.എസ് നടത്തിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. "സ്വാമിനാരായൺ കുടുംബം എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും ഏത് സ്ഥലത്തും ഏതു മനുഷ്യവർഗ്ഗത്തെ സേവിക്കാൻ തയാറാണ്," എന്ന് ശ്രീ മോദി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
