પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે ઉત્તરપ્રદેશના બદૌનમાં વિશાળ રેલીને સંબોધી હતી. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, જનતાના ઉત્સાહને જોયા પછી તે સ્પષ્ટ થઈ ગયું છે કે ઉત્તરપ્રદેશની જનતાને પરિવર્તનનીજરૂર છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ અગાઉની સરકારોની ટીકા કરતાં કહ્યું હતું કે, “જ્યારે હું ગુજરાતમાં હતો, ત્યારે બદૌન વિશે સાંભળ્યું હતું. સમાજવાદી, બહુજન સમાજ પક્ષના શાસનમાં આ ભૂમિ સુધી વિકાસનાં મીઠાં ફળ પહોંચી શક્યાં નથી તેનું શું કારણ છે”
પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ ટિપ્પણી કરી હતી કે, “અમારી સરકાર ગરીબો, વંચિતો અને ખેડૂતોની સેવા કરવા પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે. અમે તેમનો ઉત્થાન કરવા કેટલાંક પગલાં લીધા છે.”
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ વિપક્ષને નિશાન બનાવ્યો હતો અને કહ્યું હતું કે, “સ્વતંત્રતાના 70 વર્ષ પછી પણ 18,000 ગામડાઓમાં હજુ સુધી વીજળી શા માટે પહોંચી નથી?” તેમણે વધુમાં ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, “બદૌનમાં આશરે 500 ગામડામાં વીજળીનો પુરવઠો જ પહોંચતો નથી. અત્યાર સુધી અગાઉની સરકારોએ શું કર્યું હતું? તેમણે જવાબ આપવો પડશે”
તેમણે આરોપ મૂક્યો હતો કે રાજ્યમાં સમાજવાદી પક્ષની સરકાર ઉત્તરપ્રદેશની જનતાનું અપરાધીઓ સામે રક્ષણ કરી શકી નથી. તેમણે પૂછ્યું હતું કે, “ઉત્તરપ્રદેશમાં સમાજવાદી પક્ષ શા માટે ગુનેગારોને છાવરે છે?.
પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ ઉત્તરપ્રદેશમાં વિધાનપરિષદમાં 3 બેઠકોમાં ભાજપને વિજય અપાવવા બદલ સમર્થન આપવા બદલ ઉત્તરપ્રદેશની જનતાનો આભાર માન્યો હતો. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, “હું ભાજપને સમર્થન આપવા બદલ અને વિધાનપરિષદની ચૂંટણીમાં અમારા પક્ષને વિજય અપાવવા બદલ ઉત્તરપ્રદેશના દરેક નાગરિકને અભિનંદન આપું છું અને આભાર માનું છું..
પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ ટિપ્પણી કરી હતી કે તેમની સરકારે ભ્રષ્ટાચાર ઘટાડવા સરકારી નોકરીઓમાં ગ્રેડ 3 અને 4 માટે નોકરીઓ મેળવવા ઇન્ટરવ્યૂની પ્રથા નાબૂદ કરી છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, “અમે વર્ગ 3 અને 4ની નોકરીઓ માટે ઇન્ટરવ્યૂની પ્રક્રિયા નાબૂદ કરી છે. તેનાથી ભ્રષ્ટાચારમાં ઘટાડો થયો છે.”તેમણે વધુમાં ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, “રાજકીય લાભ ખાટવા ઉત્તરપ્રદેશની સરકાર રાજ્યમાં યુવાનોની આકાંક્ષા સાથે રમત રમી હતી.”
પ્રધાનમંત્રી મોદીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, એનડીએ સરકાર માટે ખેડૂતોનું કલ્યાણ સર્વોપરી છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ પ્રધાનમંત્રી ફસલ બીમા યોજના વિશે વાત કરી હતી અને કહ્યું હતું કે, “અમે ફસલ બીમા યોજના લાવ્યાં છીએ, જે કેટલાંક લોકોને લાભ આપે છે, પણ સમાજવાદી પક્ષ તેનો અમલ શા માટે કરતી નથી?”
આ સભામાં પક્ષના કેટલાંક કાર્યકર્તાઓ અને નેતાઓ પણ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાહતાં.
