শহীদ দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে ঐতিহাসিক অসম আন্দোলনে অনবদ্য অবদান রেখে যাওয়া সকলকে স্মরণ করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। তিনি বলেছেন, অসম আন্দোলন প্রজন্মের পর প্রজন্মকে প্রেরণা দিয়ে যাবে। অসমের সাংস্কৃতিক সম্পদ রক্ষা করায় এবং ওই রাজ্যের বিকাশে সরকারের উদ্যোগের কথা তুলে ধরেছেন তিনি।
