PM Modi turned emotional while interacting with one of the Jan Aushadhibeneficiaries. Deepa Shah,a woman beneficiary from Dehradun, who suffered paralysis in 2011, while interacting with PM Modi told him that she had seen God in him. She thanked PM Modi for the Jan Aushadhi Yojana and said, “I have not seen God, but I have seen God in you.”
Profusely thanking PM Modi, she said, “By listening to your voice and due to your blessings, I am recovering and also able to speak.” The womanalso thanked Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and others who had helped her recover.
She also informed PM Modi how she had started saving nearly Rs. 3,500 every month after benefitting from the Jan Aushadhi scheme.
PM Modi applauded her courage and said, “You have defeated disease with your own will power. Your courage is your God and that is what has given you the strength to emerge from such a big crisis. You should carry on this confidence in you.”
