At the invitation of Seychelles President Patrick Herminie, PM Modi paid a three-day visit to Seychelles. During the visit, he held talks with the President, attended the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Seychelles' National Day, addressed the National Assembly of Seychelles and interacted with the Indian diaspora. The PM was conferred the 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon' honour by President Herminie in recognition of his commitment to environmental conservation.
