ہندوستان نے پہلگام دہشت گردانہ حملے میں معصوم جانوں کے المناک نقصان پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ مدھوبنی، بہار میں قومی پنچایتی راج ڈے کی تقریب میں، پی ایم مودی نے گہرے دکھ اور غم و غصے کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے، سوگ میں قوم کی قیادت کی۔ متاثرین کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرنے کے لیے دو منٹ کی خاموشی اختیار کی گئی، پوری قوم متاثرہ خاندانوں کے ساتھ یکجہتی کے لیے کھڑی ہے۔

مدھوبنی، بہار میں ایک طاقتور خطاب میں، پی ایم مودی نے دہشت گردی کے مقابلے میں انصاف، اتحاد، لچک اور ہندوستان کے لازوال جذبے کے لیے زور دیا۔ انہوں نے جموں و کشمیر کے پہلگام میں حالیہ دہشت گردانہ حملے کی مذمت کی اور ہندوستان کی خودمختاری اور روح کو خطرہ میں ڈالنے والوں کے خلاف پرعزم جواب دینے کی بات پر زور دیا۔

پہلگام میں 22 اپریل کو ہوئے المناک حملے پر اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے، پی ایم مودی نے گہرے غم کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا، "معصوم شہریوں کے وحشیانہ قتل نے پوری قوم کو درد اور غم میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے۔ کارگل سے کنیا کماری تک، ہمارا غم اور غصہ ایک ہے۔انہوں نے متاثرہ خاندانوں کے ساتھ یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے انہیں یقین دلایا کہ حکومت زخمیوں اور زیر علاج افراد کی مدد کے لیے ہر ممکن کوشش کر رہی ہے۔ وزیر اعظم نے دہشت گردی کے خلاف 140 کروڑ ہندوستانیوں کے متحد عزم پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے اعلان کیا کہ "یہ صرف غیر مسلح سیاحوں پر حملہ نہیں تھا بلکہ ہندوستان کی روح پر حملہ تھا۔"

غیر متزلزل عزم کے ساتھ، پی ایم مودی نے قصورواروں کو انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لانے کا عزم ظاہر کرتے ہوئے کہا، "جن لوگوں نے یہ حملہ کیا اور جنہوں نے اس کی سازش کی، ان کو اس سے کہیں زیادہ سزا کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا جس کا وہ تصور بھی نہیں کر سکتے۔ دہشت گردی کی باقیات کو ختم کرنے کا وقت آ گیا ہے۔ ہندوستان کی قوت ارادی دہشت گردی کے آقا کی ریڑھ کی ہڈی کو کچل دے گی۔" انہوں نے بہار کی سرزمین سے یہ کہتے ہوئے ہندوستان کے عالمی موقف کو مزید تقویت دی، "ہندوستان ہر دہشت گرد، ان کے ہینڈلرز، اور ان کے پشت پناہوں کی شناخت کرے گا، ان کا سراغ لگائے گا اور سزا دے گا، اور ان کا تعاقب کر رہے ہیں۔

پی ایم مودی نے مختلف ممالک، ان کے لیڈروں اور لوگوں کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا جو دکھ کی اس گھڑی میں ہندوستان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، اس بات پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہ "ہر کوئی جو انسانیت پر یقین رکھتا ہے وہ ہمارے ساتھ ہے۔"

State Visit of Prime Minister to Seychelles

As part of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s State Visit to Seychelles from 27-29 June 2026, Prime Minister and the President of Seychelles, H.E. Dr. Patrick Herminie today held official talks at the State House in Victoria, Mahe.

The talks covered the full spectrum of bilateral relations, with the leaders agreeing to further strengthen cooperation in health, education, capacity building, digital transformation, sustainable development, social infrastructure, renewable energy, maritime security and defence. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, including challenges in the Indian Ocean region, such as illegal fishing, drug trafficking and piracy. Both leaders expressed satisfaction at the progress made in the implementation of projects and initiatives under the Special Economic Package announced by India. Prime Minister reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting the development priorities of Seychelles and to further deepen the close and enduring partnership between the two countries.

Following the official talks, both leaders released a joint commemorative logo marking 50 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Several MoUs/agreements in the fields of Capacity Building, UPI, Health, Agriculture, Shipping, Space, Extradition and Line of Credit were exchanged thereafter. In addition, several announcements in the fields of food security, infrastructure, health, vocational training, maritime security and defence were made in support of the development needs of Seychelles. Later in the day, Prime Minister addressed an Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of Seychelles, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so. In his address, he highlighted the historical bonds of friendship between India and Seychelles and underscored the shared values of democracy, rule of law and people-centric governance that guide the two countries. He noted that mutual trust and close cooperation have shaped a robust partnership spanning development cooperation, maritime security, technology, innovation, health and capacity building. The Leader of Opposition of Seychelles, H.E. Mr. Bernard Georges, also called on Prime Minister. The two leaders discussed India-Seychelles bilateral ties and conveyed their strong support to further build the special friendship between the two countries.
