نئیدہلی۔24؍دسمبر۔وزیراعظم جناب نریندر مودی نے آج آنجہانی وزیراعظم بھارت رتن جناب اٹل بہاری واجپئی کے اعزاز میں ایک یادگاری سکہ جاری کیا۔ اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا ذہن یہ تسلیم کرنےسے قاصر ہے کہ جناب واجپئی ہمارے درمیان نہیں ہیں۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ وہ سماج کے سبھی طبقوں کیلئے ایک قدآور، محبوب اور محترم شخصیت تھی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جناب واجپئی کی آواز کئی دہائیوں تک عوام کی آواز بن کر رہی۔ ایک اسپیکر کے طور پر ان کا کوئی ثانی نہیں تھا۔ وہ ملک میں پیدا ہونے والے بہترین مقررین میں سے ایک تھے ۔
جناب نریندر مودی نے کہا کہ جناب واجپئی کی زندگی کا طویل عرصہ حزب مخالف میں گزرا لیکن انہوں نے ہمیشہ قومی مفاد کی بات کی۔ وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ جناب واجپئی جمہوریت کو بالادست دیکھنا چاہتے تھے۔ انہوں نے اعتماد کا اظہار کیا کہ جناب واجپئی ہم سبھی کیلئے ایک جذبے کا وسیلہ بنے رہیں گے۔
