Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uttarakhand today. He offered prayers at the Kedarnath Temple, and greeted people near the temple complex. The Prime Minister even shared some glimpses on social media platforms.

Later PM Modi inaugurated the Patanjali Research Institute in Haridwar. He also visited the Drug Discovery and Research Laboratory at the Institute, accompanied by Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna. The Prime Minister also released the first volume of the World Herbal Encyclopedia.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev praised Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership and said that entire country was proud of the Prime Minister. Honouring the PM as ‘Rashtra Rishi’, Baba Ramdev said, “PM Narendra Modi is a Rashtra Gaurav and Vishwa Nayak who has made India very proud at the world stage.”

Adding further, he said, “Government changed and systems are being transformed under PM Modi’s leadership. Till Narendra Modi ji is our Prime Minister, India can never fall.”

Addressing a huge gathering in Haridwar, the Prime Minister said that we must never forget the innovative spirit that our ancestors were blessed with.

The Prime Minister stated that curiosity relating to Yoga was increasing among people. He called for bringing together as many people as possible, when celebrating the International Day of Yoga.

 

Shri Modi mentioned that the new health policy of the Government covered various aspects of health and wellness. The Prime Minister termed cleanliness, or Swachhta, as one of the most important aspects of preventive healthcare. He lauded the efforts of young generation towards cleanliness and urged them to further the movement.

PM Conveys Eid Greetings and Condemns Attacks on Energy and Civilian Infrastructure

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a fruitful discussion today with His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, to exchange festive greetings and address regional security concerns.

The Prime Minister spoke with His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and conveyed warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to him and the people of Bahrain. During the conversation, both leaders discussed the current situation in the West Asian region. PM Modi condemned attacks on the energy and civilian infrastructure, underscoring their adverse impact on global food, fuel, and fertilizer security. Shri Modi reiterated the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation and keeping shipping lines open and secure. The Prime Minister further expressed his gratitude to His Majesty for his continued support for the well-being of the Indian community in Bahrain.
