وزیر اعظم نریندر مودی نے آج پوڈوچیری، ویلور، کانچی پورم، ویلوپورم اور جنوبی چنئی کے بی جے پی کارکنان سے ویڈیو کانفرنسنگ کے توسط سے گفتگو کی۔ وزیر اعظم مودی نے اپنی گفتگو کا آغاز بی جے پی کے تئیں پارٹی کاریہ کرتاؤں کی توانائی، جوش و جذبہ اور عہدبندگی کی ستائش کرتے ہوئے کیا۔

2014 میں تعلیم کے شعبے میں کی گئی اصلاحات کے تعلق سے کاریہ کرتاؤں کے ذریعہ پوچھے گئے سوالا کا جواب دیتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم مودی نے کہا، ’’ہماری توجہ محض منصوبے وضع کرنے میں ہی نہیں بلکہ نتائج پر بھی مرکوز ہے۔ ہمنے قومی ادارہ جاتی درجہ بندی کا فریم ورک تیار کیا جو اداروں کی درجہ بندی طے کیے گئے ہدف کی بنیاد پر کرتا ہے تاکہ اس امر کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے کہ ہم اداروں کو مزید بہتر اور مسابقتی بنائیں۔ ‘

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اسی طرح کی اصلاحات صحتی شعبہ میں بھی کی جار ہی ہیں، اور اس کے لئے عنقریب ملک کی مختلف ریاستوں میں متعدد ایمس (اے آئی آئی ایم ایس) ہسپتال کھولے جائیں گے۔

بعد ازاں، جب ان سے کانگریس پارٹی کے ذریعہ سیاسی فوائد کے لئے قومی اداروں بدنام کرنے کی کوشش اور ان کے ذریعہ اس طرح کی چالبازیوں سے نمٹنے کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو وزیر اعظم نے جواب دیا، ’’کانگریس کے اس غیر جمہوری رویے کا موزوں جواب جمہوریت کو مستحکم بنانا ہے۔ ہمارے ملک کے عوام ہی ہماری جمہوریت کی حفاظت کرنے والی سب سے بڑی طاقت ہیں۔ آخری مرتبہ جب کانگریس نے جمہوریت کو نقصان پہنچانے کی کوشش کی تھی، تب عوام نے ہی انہیں ایسا کرنے سے روکا تھا۔ بی جے پی کاریہ کرتاؤں کو عوام تک پہنچنا چاہئے اور انہیں بتانا چاہیئے کہ کانگریس کا ڈی این اے ابھی بھی ویسا ہی ہے۔‘‘  وزیر اعظم مودی نے بی جے پی کاریہ کرتاؤں کو تین نکاتی اصولوں کے بارے میں بتایا؛ جو ہیں، انفارم (Inform)یعنی اطلاع دینا، انکریز (Increase)یعنی بڑھانا اور امپروو (Improve)یعنی بہتری لانا، جس کے ذریعہ وزیر اعظم نے کاریہ کرتاؤں سے زیادہ سے زیادہ عوام تک پہنچنا اور انہیں مرکزی حکومت کی حصولیابیوں سے آگاہ کرنا ہے۔

Seven years of the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35(A)

Today the nation marks seven years since the historic abrogation of Articles 370 and 35(A) on 5th August 2019. Prime Minister Modi described it as a defining milestone in India's journey towards inclusive development.

Shri Modi noted that over the past seven years, the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have witnessed wide-ranging transformation across sectors. Infrastructure has expanded significantly, while new opportunities have emerged in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and sports. "The women and members of marginalised communities, who had been deprived of several constitutional rights for decades, have now been empowered through the full application of the Constitution of India", Shri Modi added.

The Prime Minister observed that this year's anniversary assumes even greater significance as the nation commemorates the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He said that Dr. Mookerjee's lifelong commitment to national unity continues to inspire generations, and that the vision he championed found historic fulfilment on 5th August 2019.

Reaffirming the Government's unwavering commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the Prime Minister said that every citizen must have the opportunity to dream big, realise their aspirations and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

Seven years ago, on this day, Articles 370 and 35(A) became history, marking a decisive new chapter in the journey of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh.

Since then, the lives of the people of J&K and Ladakh have witnessed wide-ranging transformation. Infrastructure has expanded, opportunities in areas such as education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and sports have grown. Be it the women or the marginalised communities, those who were denied their basic constitutional rights for decades have been empowered thanks to the full application of the Constitution of India.

5th August this year assumes even greater significance as this is the year our nation commemorates the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. His lifelong commitment to national unity continues to inspire generations. What he envisioned decades ago found historic fulfilment on 5th August 2019.

We reaffirm our commitment to the progress of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh and to ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to dream big, achieve and contribute to the making of a Viksit Bharat.
