During the Pariksha Pe Charcha townhall, while replying to a question on whether obtaining good marks in examinations are the determining factors, PM Modi advised the students to come out of the mindset that success or failure in exams determine everything.
“Marks are not life”, said PM Modi adding, “Examination is not the determining factor for our whole life. It is a stepping stone, an important stepping stone in life. I urge parents not to tell children that this is everything.”
He also said there were umpteen opportunities available today for the youngsters to choose.
