அரசின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்பில் 25-வது ஆண்டில் அடியெடுத்து வைத்துள்ள பிரதமர், நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்துள்ளார். கடந்த 2001-ம் ஆண்டு இதே நாளில் குஜராத் மாநில முதலமைச்சராக பொறுப்பேற்று கொண்டதை அவர் நினைவு கூர்ந்துள்ளார். நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சிக்காகவும், மக்களின் வாழ்வாதார மேம்பாட்டிற்காகவும் தொடர்ந்து பாடுபட்டு வருவதாக அவர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

சமூக ஊடக எக்ஸ் தளத்தில் பிரதமர் வெளியிட்டுள்ள பதிவில், சோதனையான காலத்தில் கட்சி தன் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு குஜராத் மாநில முதலமைச்சர் பொறுப்பை வழங்கியதாக கூறியுள்ளார். அதே ஆண்டில் ஏற்பட்ட மிகப்பெரிய பூகம்பத்தால் மாநிலம் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. அதற்கு முந்தைய ஆண்டுகள் புயல் மற்றும் வறட்சியால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்ததுடன், அரசியல் ஸ்திரத்தன்மை இல்லாத நிலை இருந்ததாக குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். அத்தகைய சவால்கள் இருந்த போதும் மக்களுக்கு சேவையாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற வலுவான தீர்மானத்துடன் குஜராத் மாநிலத்தை மறு கட்டமைப்பு செய்யும் பணியில் நம்பிக்கையுடன் ஈடுபட்டதாக அவர் பெருமிதத்துடன்  தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

குஜராத் மாநில முதலமைச்சராக தாம்  பொறுப்பேற்று கொண்ட போது, தனது பணி குறித்து தமது தாயாருக்கு எவ்வித புரிதலும் இல்லை என்று கூறியதாகவும், இருந்த போதிலும் இரண்டு விஷயங்களை தன்னிடம் தெரிவித்து கொள்வதாக பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். முதலாவது ஏழைகளின் நலனுக்காக எப்போதும் பாடுபட வேண்டும் என்பதாகும், இரண்டாவதாக, ஒருபோதும் லஞ்சம் பெறக்கூடாது என்பதாகும். நாட்டில் உள்ள கடைசி நபரும் பயன்பெறும் வகையில் தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையுடன் சிறந்த சேவை அளிப்பதை நோக்கமாக கொண்டு செயல்பட்டு வருவதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.

 

இந்த 25 ஆண்டுகளில் பல்வேறு அனுபவங்கள் நிறைந்துள்ளதாக உள்ளது என்று பிரதமர்  கூறியுள்ளார். இத்துடன் குஜராத் மாநில முதலமைச்சராக தாம் பொறுப்பேற்று கொண்ட போது இம்மாநிலத்தை மீட்டெடுப்பது மிகவும் கடினமான செயல் என்று கூறப்பட்டது. விவசாயிகள் உட்பட சாமானிய மக்கள் மின்சாரம் மற்றும் தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறை குறித்து புகார் அளித்தனர். விவசாயம் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டதுடன், தொழில் துறையின் வளர்ச்சியும் தடைபட்டிருந்தது. இந்த சூழலில் அனைவரும் ஒன்றிணைந்து பணியாற்றியதுடன், சிறந்த நிர்வாகம் காரணமாக குஜராத் மாநிலம் சக்திவாய்ந்த மாநிலமாக உருவெடுத்துள்ளது என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

கடந்த 2013-ம் ஆண்டில் தமக்கு பிரதமர் வேட்பாளர் பொறுப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார். அந்த சமயத்தில் நாடு நம்பிக்கை மற்றும் நிர்வாக இடர்பாடுகளால் சிக்கி தவித்து வந்தது என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார். ஐக்கிய முற்போக்கு கூட்டணி ஆட்சியில் ஊழல், வாரிசு அரசியல், கொள்கை முடக்கம் ஆகியவற்றால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்த சூழலில் 30 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு மக்கள் தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணிக்கு அறுதிப் பெரும்பான்மை அளித்தனர்.

 

கடந்த 11 ஆண்டுகளில் நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்காக பல்வேறு சீர்திருத்த நடவடிக்கைகள் மக்கள் இயக்கமாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு சாதனை படைக்கப்பட்டதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார். நாடு முழுவதும் மக்களின் மேம்பாட்டிற்காக குறிப்பாக பெண்களுக்கு அதிகாரமளித்தல், இளையோர் சக்தி மற்றும் ஏழைகளின் வாழ்வாதார மேம்பாட்டிற்காக பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டன. இத்தகைய திட்டங்களால் 25 கோடிக்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் வறுமையின் பிடியிலிருந்து விடுபட்டுள்ளனர். மேலும் இந்தியா உலக அளவில் மிகப்பெரிய பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி கண்டு வரும் நாடாக உருவெடுத்துள்ளது. மிகப்பெரிய சுகாதார சேவைகள் மற்றும் சமூகப் பாதுகாப்பு திட்டங்கள் காரணமாக உலக அளவில் இந்தியா முக்கியத்துவம் கொண்ட நாடாக திகழ்கிறது.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today congratulated Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on becoming the longest continuously serving Prime Minister in Italy's postwar history.

The Prime Minister stated that this milestone is a reflection of the trust and confidence of the Italian people in her leadership. He further noted that her friendship has been instrumental in strengthening the India-Italy Special Strategic Partnership, adding that he looks forward to continuing their close cooperation to build a prosperous future for the people of both countries. He extended his best wishes for her continued success in the years ahead.
